    I don't know anything, but I still will give a question (suggestion). Why not use ultraviolet or X-rays deep underground, maybe at a frequency that would cause peak absorbance by aromatic molecules to generate the free radicals to react with water.

    What kind of iron minerals did you use? Is iron fillings good enough?
