Just to say we had our appointment last year in Coimbra, when we were waiting there was a woman there with a lawyer, when she was called the lawyer kind of took over the meeting from the start and the woman behind the counter was getting very frustrated and a bit angry as all she wanted to do was deal with the woman herself, I'd just say be careful how you deal with it. It was easy for us 25 minutes and it was over, good luck.
Sadly we've been told by the consulate it won't be easy 😔 in our case as, sef were overruled on the, appeal... But agree, we're taking our lawyer as back up mainly 😊
@@TheWildlandersOffGrid I put posts and zip ties like yours I added boards (palette) around the base now ready to put the plastic on and attach the plastic to these boards as well as burying the plastic, overkill probably but it's an exposed to the coast (Algarve) site
Good idea on the base, I considered boards, all round but opted for front and back. The scuff boards, left and right of the door are not only atta he'd to the door frame but also screwed to the greenhouse frame so not going anywhere! 🍃
Oh my goodness what a nightmare those Visas are but a brilliant idea taking the lawyer with you, I’m sure you don’t meed it but the very best of luck when you do go to the appointment. Incidentally where I have my allotment the guys with tunnels make a second door with chicken wire just to place in the door frame as they tend to get animal’s getting in the tunnels attracted by all the produce. Might be worth thinking about given the wildlife such as boars where you are located.

I thought the same thing when I first saw it John, but the polycarbonate is adding a very stiff exoskeleton to the door and frame which will effectively do the same thing. While it wouldn't hurt to add the diagonal I don't think it will be required.

I believe that that you have to have an entre date stamped on the passport that the visa is in. SEF will look for that. Good luck

Might’ve have been better to use diagonal cross braces for the door to make it square and stronger,
