I support a group on Facebook called we are the 22 there a massive support as well brother check them out owner is Mikel from Arkansas trying I'm reach out to others so the group can help other veterans as they have been me
I have had major depression since the day I was born. My old therapist used to tell me it wasent poasible but by the time I stopped having my regular sessions with her, she appologized to me for not believing me. After 2.5 years of regular sessions with her, she had to let me go due to my lack of improvement. The therapist before also told me that she loved sitting with me and listening to my stories/memories/experiences but she didnt think she would be able to help me. Im 45 years old. 45 years of major depression, anxiety, sadness, loneliness, ect...has been terrible. Nothing works. Medication doesnt work. Therapy has never worked. Its so old and doesnt look like its ever going anywhere. I was hoping to 1 day know what like was like without constant sadness but its looking like never. The future seems so blurry which makes me ask myself every single day, Why???? For what???? What a wasted 45 years. If i had the chance to do it over again would I?....NEVER!
