75 years have passed since this film was made, yet the message is more important than ever in 2024. “Hellfire” is a film with a timeless message. The script is first-rate! The actors are superbly cast - in particular the three central characters played by Wild Bill Elliott, Marie Windsor & Forrest Tucker. I enjoyed every minute of this rare movie. Thanks for sharing it here on TH-cam!
One of the best moral westerns i at 71 years old have ever seen , and i know these types of movies are needed in this world but will probably never be seen again , thanks for the chance to see these great movies

I agree, 100% the messages, clap movies, respect, character honor, have been lost by Hollywood, replaced by politics, and pushing woke Ideas, promoting racism. The reason these classics are so popular they just focus on quality entertainment.

I like this film!!! Doll Brown is certainly an intriguing outlaw. It is so refreshing to see spiritual virtues winning out in an engaging and entertaining way. I’m watching it again.

An interesting little movie in Western garb used to accentuate the difference between the good & the bad guys. An excellent cast esoecially Marie Windsor, one of the femme fatales of Fim Noir. Her role as the decoy in "The Narrow Margin" was quite a surprise. She was great in period dramas and in various comedies. She was beautiful to boot with a long career on the big & little screens. Whenever she was in a scene, you didn't notice anyone else. I never tire of watching her-- her great screen presence, charismatic personality & emotional availability made her a popular choice with casting agents & directors as well as with the movie-going audiences.

Jesus said he would restore our nation if ppl would humble themselves and ask him… oh that one word .. humble…ppl don’t even know the meaning of that word anymore but they will learn the hardest way imaginable. Great movie.
As I read it, God was talking to the Israelites... AND God told them to repent of their wicked ways. While, the US does need to do all of that, I don't see a promise from God if we do.

@@sixfigureskibum It is all in the Bible If you believe. All written in the Bible will come to pass. Several things already have. You have to read the old and new testaments but if you aren't a believer then I guess you are laughing but you will not have the last laugh. It is a shame people will not humble themselves and seek God for anything because of arrogance....that is the problem or one of them. I am a believer always have been and I've already seen the deterioration in this country in all aspects. Sad to watch.

Esther Howard in a supporting role here is a must see in RKO's Murder My Sweet and Dick Tracy Meets Cueball. She's over the top good. R.G. Springsteen keeps this movie on track. Terrific film.

Bill Elliott was the most monotone speaker of any Actor that did more than 1 movie. Flat voice even with effort, there's no natural emotion in his sentences, it is a point that Directors would have questioned as to Why casted?
I haven't a clue why he was in acting. In spite of the quality he has a large following, was probably a nice guy, and exuded "straight lace", thus the Bible Belt would have loved him.
Discernment rather than Judgemental. One need not Judge to discuss a subject or review a performance.
Monotone Speaker: I had a College Instructor/Teacher, that spoke monotone, vast intelligence and knowledge, but his communication skills, speaking, presentations were the most mild painful experiences that I wondered how I could possibly get a passing grade. Dr K. God bless him and every student that completed his courses, and those that didn't ... too.

Nice ole timey movie with a good moral BUT truth is UNLESS you accept Jesus the Christ as your Savior and Lord you will not see the Kingdom of God.
There's LOTS of "good" people in hell right now because they hadn't accepted Jesus as their Savior and made Him Lord of their lives and to do this is to follow His Word and live it. I don't apologize for being blunt because time is greatly short. Live your life for Him because He gave His life for you.
