One of the best moral westerns i at 71 years old have ever seen , and i know these types of movies are needed in this world but will probably never be seen again , thanks for the chance to see these great movies
I agree, 100% the messages, clap movies, respect, character honor, have been lost by Hollywood, replaced by politics, and pushing woke Ideas, promoting racism. The reason these classics are so popular they just focus on quality entertainment.
75 years have passed since this film was made, yet the message is more important than ever in 2024. “Hellfire” is a film with a timeless message. The script is first-rate! The actors are superbly cast - in particular the three central characters played by Wild Bill Elliott, Marie Windsor & Forrest Tucker. I enjoyed every minute of this rare movie. I like this film!!! Doll Brown is certainly an intriguing outlaw. It is so refreshing to see spiritual virtues winning out in an engaging and entertaining way. I’m watching it again.
An interesting little movie in Western garb used to accentuate the difference between the good & the bad guys. An excellent cast esoecially Marie Windsor, one of the femme fatales of Fim Noir. Her role as the decoy in "The Narrow Margin" was quite a surprise. She was great in period dramas and in various comedies. She was beautiful to boot with a long career on the big & little screens. Whenever she was in a scene, you didn't notice anyone else. I never tire of watching her-- her great screen presence, charismatic personality & emotional availability made her a popular choice with casting agents & directors as well as with the movie-going audiences.
This is a great movie! A wonderful story that so many need to hear. Thank you for sharing it. May God use this movie to speak to the hearts and spirits of all those who watch it, to bring them into the kingdom of Heaven. In Jesus' name I pray and ask it, amen.

As I read it, God was talking to the Israelites... AND God told them to repent of their wicked ways. While, the US does need to do all of that, I don't see a promise from God if we do.

Esther Howard in a supporting role here is a must see in RKO's Murder My Sweet and Dick Tracy Meets Cueball. She's over the top good. R.G. Springsteen keeps this movie on track. Terrific film.

As a believer in Jesus Christ and dying, our only hope from Hell and torment this is the only hope for Living with Christ in peace and joy with God in Heaven for eternity. Love this rare movie and hope people will realize how far our Country has declined and turn away from our Creator. Repent and be Born Again, for faith in Jesus Christ is your only hope for Heaven.
Sir, from another 70ish who saw this movie when he was 5 in '52, &who remembered only 2 scenes : 1- the woman hitting the man reading the book, on his head 2- the same woman shot at while reading the same book Let me tell you that THE FACT OF so many positive comments on this simple movie SHOWS THAT THE LORD HAS NOT FORSAKEN the world.

Nice ole timey movie with a good moral BUT truth is UNLESS you accept Jesus the Christ as your Savior and Lord you will not see the Kingdom of God. There's LOTS of "good" people in hell right now because they hadn't accepted Jesus as their Savior and made Him Lord of their lives and to do this is to follow His Word and live it. I don't apologize for being blunt because time is greatly short. Live your life for Him because He gave His life for you.
