It turned out alright . I like to play around with timber when I can get it for free , otherwise it becomes an expensive hobby. Thanks for the compliment.
I'm glad you liked it , everybody that comes here wants a little sit on it . It's easy to store away when the novelty wears off as well . Thanks for watching 👍
It's easy to keep it out of the weather, so I'm expecting the chair to last a while . Before I got the piece of timber It spent the last 2 years laying on a driveway out in the weather . Thanks for watching 👍
it turned out alright . it folds up flat . I was going to make one out of timber that wasn't so thick and take it on the back of my CT 125 for a video but I got a better piece of timber for free . i could still take it for a ride but the pieces together weigh about 18 kg all up , plus my food and alcohol., maybe I still will 😀😀😀
I've had a few Scotches on it while I'm looking up at all the stars . I always look up at the Southern Cross first 😀 . Thanks for liking and commenting, it helps us small channels grow.
Now just need to make yourself some 'honeymead' to go with that Viking chair. 😂 Amazing craftsmanship. 🎉I bet the garden worms love munching out on the sawdust remnants.
I've never tried Honeymead , but the price of it looks good ,so I might have to give it a go... I havnt put sawdust in yet but I do want to start making some compost but I have to work out a good spot in the garden first . Thanks for the comments and watching my videos 👍
@@robfur I was lucky to get a couple of giveaway worm farms. Other than that, our local council supplies a small green waste bin and compostable liners, for our kitchens. When there's no room in the worm farm, I dig a hole and drop the compost bag straight into the garden bed. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. I had two round compost bins but they seem to attract rats🤔😅. I relocated both of them and presently doing a spud growing experiment in both of them. The honeymead is top shelf on the taste buds and pallet. I'm not a big drinker myself but love making ginger beer, puckerbutt lemonade and kombucha and inspired me to give the mead a crack, being a Bee keeper as well. I borrowed a 5ltre demijohn and an aerator from my cousin. The second batch turned out better than the First, due to adding a champagne yeast sachet second time round. My son-in-law who works at Dan's recommended that one😅 it was fabulous advice.. 👌
I read that somewhere , but I think most people like them being called a Viking Chair. I try and give my viewers what they like , but I do get it wrong sometimes. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
I didn't measure it , but if it's a tight fit it would be a 45, but if the hole was a bit bigger I guess there would be more slack, so that would make it a bigger angle .
Oh ok, got it . But I meant the angle on the seat piece of the board that sits back on the ground . On the video it shows that you cut an angle on the board so it lays on the ground more evenly. Thanks for the feedback.
@@noble_roots_customs I just put the seat together and marked what i thought needed cutting off so it sits flat , I can't remember if I got the angle right first go but the belt sander would of got it right in the end . Sorry I can't be more helpful mate . I sort of just work things out as I go with most projects .
Oh wow a Star Gazing chair,, absolutely stunning 😁👍🏻

Very satisfying video Rob, chair looks heaps good for beers and stargazing!

I like that hadn’t ever seen a chair.made or that looked like that before.
2 pieces of wood , no nails or screws and it's easy to store away if your not using it . It's different. Thanks for watching 👍
@@robfur you’re welcome I might have to try & make one myself.gonna keep this video
Very nice chair! I like the piece of timber you used to make it. I need to try making some of these.
@@WillysPerformanceCycleCtr my mate was throwing the bit of timber out , so I thought I might make something out of it.
Me, being from one of the Viking coutries 😁 just love the craftmanship that went in to that chair. Awsome skills and big thanks!!

About 3 inches ... I'm glad I saved it from the rubbish 🗑 pile
