Gnarly Trails & Flat Tires | Sooke BC

A few weeks back I showed my buddy around some of Vancouver Islands best Technical Trails at Harbourview in Sooke BC. We rode Rocky Ridge, Airflow, K2 and Bracken.
I got my first flat at the highest point on the mountain, the top of airflow. Luckily I was able to to get the tire to hold about 15-20 PSI with the sealant and Tannus insert doing its job.
As we cruised down lower, I got my second flat on K2, this time in the sidewall. Things weren't looking good, with the tire only holding about 5psi I sent it to the bottom, punishing the insert and wheel.
Still turned out to be an awesome ride!

Zig Zag then Airflow is a big ride, dang. Lots of pushing, haha. Great terrain out there, for sure.

Hey Jordan, I just picked up a HL2. I've been curious about the Tigon. Not really any reviews on it yet. How do you like it? Anything you don't like about it. Awesome riding BTW.

Congrats on the new bike, tigon has been fantastic. Really well suited to the HL2, I’ve been riding it for about 5 months now and there’s nothing I don’t like. Super quiet, easy to tune, light weight. Best shock I’ve used to date 🤙
