It is worth saying that HBO is my favorite TV network, with The Sopranos and Succession being my favorite! It's also been 5 years since I have used my current intro
2:05 I love that HBO ID, one of my favorites from the 80s, simply beautiful and epic🎉 11:51 I love that little tune of TNT, very typical of the channel from the late 80s and early 90s. 21:05 Oh, terrifying (the sound makes it like this)
I like the “We’ll be right back” message at the beginning! Really makes it feel like an actual program on some Iridium TV Channel My favorite is TV1000 at 22:50 but Teleclub’s film start ident at 22:26 was cool too!
12:48 tele1st 😂 the reason it sounds like that is because the company that ran it thought it would be a good idea to shove every version of 80s DRM into the broadcast. Needless to say it didnt last
21:40 May I, from Santiago de Chile, correct this? Personally, I wasn’t expecting Cable Cine to appear xd. However, it’s worth noting that Showbiz (its successor, focused more on entertainment-esque themes) was later replaced by Vive Deportes and is currently just called Vive.
11:32 - can anybody tell me why these 80s cable stations always throw in a "bippity-bop" telephone sound in their promos?? I've always been curious about that.
I wonder where i can find HBO's Brazilian variant, as i'm from Brazil. Btw, Cable networks only became to surge starting in 1991 with channels like "Telecine" (which if it came out 2 years earlier, it would be here with the others, but alas. Btw, that's Rede Globo's own "Showtime" or "HBO", one of their first alongside 4 others in their Globosat service, and it's still strong to this day after getting divided into multiple channels specifically focused on genres or eras)
If you saw the launch day recording on TH-cam (which i just checked), the long version of TV6's ident has the same theme as the one used while the president of Turner Broadcasting was welcoming viewers to TNT (The logo seen here was the launch one, unsurprisingly).
@TheIridiumic138 okay, I get that, I just really liked the series (logobro1's series is an option but I feel like you did better with the animation (I still like logobro's series though) and I've seen you've still done stuff like it (PBS Europe logo demo)
Telecine, and Globosat, only began operations in 1991. Sure, Globo has some high budget for high quality logos, but no Brazilian network had the idea to export the Cable Television system until in the early 90s.

HBO 82-87 was a powerful introduction. Such sheer creativity and unmatched quality for the time, all for the sake of a bumper.
"And Now, For Our Feature Presentation!" - Walt Disney Home Video Announcer (Mark Elliott)
Fun fact: The music in the Canal 23 Cine ident is a redux of Smoke Gets In Your Eyes.
(3:45) Can't forget about Hungary!

You know you were in for a treat when you saw the words “Feature Presentation”

That's the DTMF tones, in which they changed from one channel to the next.
HTN shares with The Learning Channel, now known as TLC
22:49 *_bro this looks like it's from august 27th 1999 😱🗿🗿_*
The 1985-88 ident from The Movie Channel brought me memories! It was my favorite ID of theirs
❤❤ thanks for putting one of my archives on your work, great as usual.
I love this masterpiece, Iri!
You look quite fantastic!
The way these used to get everyone all excited for the feature presentation was awesome and better then how they do things today
That TNT ident from 1988 is insanely good. It would still sort of hold up even today, I think.
21:30 Chase - Giorgio Moroder
"no CGI" Ah, yes, giant HBO logo from the sky, we've all seen that

That Cablevision ident from Argentina never fails to satisfy!
That TeleClub ident is sinisterly brilliant!
Can you make one for the 90s
Ooooooh I want to see a 90s movie channel ident compilation also, same with the early 00s
@@tychauntenelle919 Me too. 90's Movie Channel Idents are next.
@@kelsonlopez396 I can't wait!!!!!!!
11:52 tv6 moscow-used music spotted
It's because Turner invested in TV-6, hence why it had a US flag

2:05 my favorite
I associate SelecTV with the end credits of the UK drama series Lovejoy!
Did you make your channel intro in blender?

@@TheIridiumic138 Is it possible to get tutorials on this channel as well too?
Hey
I have a video suggestion:How about a video about cable TV in the 90s?
Out of context but are you going to make more BSA (or now you want to call it Independent American station mockups or something I forgot) videos?
I was planning up Iridiumic Television which has no limits on regional idents are but I have not been able to focus on it

I would also like to see a video like that, if there was a possibility that he decided to do it, because I would love to help him in the process.
