Homemade Mayonnaise from Scratch - 5 ingredients and a blender!

This homemade mayonnaise is so simple, cheap and easy to make. I like knowing exactly what is in the food I'm giving to my kids.
1 cup of oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
Add 1/2 cup of oil, egg, salt, sugar and vinegar into a blender. As it blends, slowly add the remaining 1/2 cup of oil. And that is it! Enjoy!

I love how quick and easy it is to make! Is it okay to add things like chopped pickles or something like that?

Yes! I add different seasonings and a little milk to make it a salad dressing! If you add pickles, mustard and some lemon juice you could have tartar sauce!

Kewpie's engineer said on TV before, general mayo uses whole of egg but Kewpie mayo uses only yolk of egg. It makes the difference and milder mayo.

Just a suggestion….if you want lots of likes and subscribes and followers to your channel, choose recipes that people are not going to think “I don’t feel safe eating raw egg” or “I wonder if eggs are truly safe in my country to eat this”. Choose recipes that are unique(no one usually has a recipe for it….) and has ingredients most people have access to, and is tasty but not an super excessive amount of salt, sugar, or fat, and at the end of your video show how good it looks.
