I'm in Canada and just received my Smithworks wedge today, but it will be at least a month before the courses open here. I did take into consideration the wear/damage to the golf balls but I figured, if I change balls on the green for putting, why not do the same thing for my approach shots? I'm not playing in tournaments and the one league I do play in is mixed and very lose and fun. I'll just do as one poster suggested below and carry a few of the Kirkland balls for my approach shots as I don't like them for much else. It should be a fun season, can't wait! Thanks for the video, it was cool to see a grown man laughing and having so much fun with this club!!
It's a valid point about the illegal club, but if you only play for fun...why not ..and I'll bet there are still lots of golfers playing in competition with illegal COR drovers lol 😆
It’s not made for cheating though, it’s made for having fun. It is all over the advertising, made for fun. If you want to just play PGA tour golf go ahead, otherwise you could lighten up a bit and just enjoy the game with your mates. 🤔😉

amazing work guys
They look so similar to the Tour Edge Wingman wedges.
How does the legal club compare to other legal wedges like TM Hi toe ?
Why don't you try a Macgregor 'Bakspin' mashie from 1920; the one with the really wide grooves? That might be even more exciting.
Well done matt 👏 👍
Matt, where can I find your lesson tariffs?
Nice vid Matt. Looked like you had fun
I don’t own a golf ball for long enough for this to be a problem
Basically, the Spin Doctor wedge without the alternate blades.
With the cost of golf balls being so high, I can’t imagine wanting to chew them up with a wedge that is basically made for cheating.
Cos weekend with mates and no scorekeeping is why.
F U N
Buy Kirkland balls 24 for 20 bucks from Costco,

Lake balls
@@stevencowan1788 shit im buying used balls $20 for 100 lol
Are you taking a average joe swing or are you striking ball first or opening the face.
These look suspiciously like original TM Hi Toes.
Can you properly count your score and apply it towards your handicap if you're using "illegal" clubs? 🤔
Nope.
@@markgilbertson1564 That's what I would have thought but everyone only ever talks about "illegal for tournament use"
i have 3 of the illegal wedges i call them my paper shredders i love the instant results
Lol! He said Ball Munchers!
I just heard ‘your mom!’
Id never buy a club that wasn't legal even though I don't bother with comps. Don't mind if folks do buy them though.
Just my 2 cents worth
Cheers
Pretty sure their wedges are tour conforming
The spin isn't worth the damage it does to golf balls.
Why would you want to ruin your golf balls using a cheating club? Fun or not fun, I wouldn't use it, and I am rubbish at chipping. 😁
There is zero chance that laser engraved X's have any effect on the spin
