I very much like how Azure is not really a villain. LBD had good intentions, yet was also cruel in her actions, manipulative, torturous. She pitied those who suffered but arrogantly thought herself as the only one who had the right to decide if the world lives or dies. Azure in comparison, was a warrior who held compassion for those who suffered, nothing more, nothing less. They say absolute power corrupts absolutely. I guess we'll see in season 5 if that rings true for Azure, or if the Jade Emperor was as callous as he as of now seemingly was. Then when he learned of the Monkey King, after a long time skip, they became brothers along with Demon Bull King, Macaque, Yellowtusk Elephant, and Golden Winged Eagle or Golden Winged Peng which is now his new name. That would actually be a really cool way to make Azure act like a villain, despite showing he’s a good person, and not kill/get rid of Azure. Maybe he could reform like DBK
I haven't watched the show, but this compilation gives me mixed feelings about Azure Lion. On one hand, he doesn't come off as malevolent. However, there's a lot of red flags. He is not shown to care why Monkey King or DBK don't want to champion his cause, only that they don't. Instead, he imprisons them, with no care for the people in their lives, which serves to create more enemies for Azure. Barring the potential burden that the Jade Emperor's power may come with, Azure Lion has the inklings of an "If you're not with me, you're my enemy" mentality that could make him into just another tyrant.
I wonder how things with the Demon Bull Family could have gone, hadn't Azure threatened Princess Iron Fan and Red Son, especially given how both DBK and his wife seemingly had no trouble in being a faction of their own in the first season and Princess Iron Fan specifically no longer serves the Jade Emperor.

I know right That dude had nothing on dbk He didn't intrude in your plans just living happily with his family but noo azure just had to come in and suck in my fav family all at once .I hate how pathetic they made redson at least they could have given him some sort of anger power up like MK's instead of just making scream and rant like a wimp. Then fine just let him pull one successful punch on azure Or at least give him a fair exit by making azure not to hold his head like that
No he is definitely going insane from the new power up. We saw what happened the Demon Bull King and I'll be real Azure's "holier than thou" complex is already impairing his judgement. Man's gonna loose it
@Malmar Oh! That's a really good point, but I actually meant the scene where Azure defeated and captured DBK. He's so swallowed in his hatred of this celestial realm that he didn't even note that A: Princess Iron Fan isn't even part of the celestial realm anymore, as she considers herself a demon and B: That she willingly sacrificed herself in protecting her husband.
Can someone tell me why is he the antagonist? I mean, I can see that he goes against the protagonists; but I want to know what is he doing wrong, as it seems to me that he has a valid point but I don't have the full context to make a full verdict. P.D. I love that they follow the original Azuras "hate" towards certain gods and their ambiguos affiliations (aka being somewhat "neutrals")
Well, someone else correct me if I'm wrong, but based on my understanding, we don't know if the Jade Emperor is as bad as Azure says. We've kind of only heard about him from characters who already dislike him, and have decided they'd be better off with someone else on the throne, not exactly unbiased narrators in that regard. The only character we've met who is loyal to the Jade Emperor is our old pal Nezha, who told Azure that the Jade Emperor's has a greater role in this world than Azure can comprehend. But Azure has already decided for himself that the Jade Emperor doesn't care about anybody but himself. My guess is that he isn't entirely correct, or that he isn't looking at the whole picture, which is why even the Jade Emperor called him naive and oblivious. Basically, we've got the bad guys' version of events, but not the good guys'. There must be a reason Sun Wukong allied himself with heaven, and given the fact that his next move was to join the pilgrims to try and do good in the world, the Jade Emperor is probably a better guy than Azure would have us believe.
That's practically the same backstory lbd Had only hers was more dark and evil They both fight for what they think is Right .Lbd standing on the motion that The world is inpure and needs to be restarted by a clean state and azure basically a freedom fighter at least in his own opinion.I love the villain characterization of this show its not like they're evil they are just bent on their opinions about things .But the end point is that they're notions are wrong Or atleast despicable in the eyes of the protagonists and on their journey to obtain their goals they do some very twisted stuff that affects the protagonists in some way or the other or are mean and evil. This is my basic description of a LMK antagonist
Is it just me or is there no sign of a tail on the Azure lion in every scene? I mean, he's supposed to have a tail right?!? But, maybe it's hidden??? I don't know...😶😞🤔
I like Azure, He Feels like Hes Not an actual Villian and Genuine in what he said About Wu Kong. My only question is... Is Sun Wu Kong Actually Dead Cause he Scroll Piece was Split or?
Highly doubtful they would (or could) kill Sun Wukong, being un-killable is one of his major characteristics. It's more likely his essence is divided between the two pieces, and if they can find a way to repair it, they can get our monkey back.

The best villain's in Monkie kid is the one's that trick MK 1st Macaque 2nd Azure
can't wait for season 5 when azure... oh...
HOL’UP!!!! THERE’S A NEW SEASON!!?!??
Chris sabat as Azure Lion is awesome
To be fair azure pulled his sword out to stop Mk he could've just jumped for the scroll piece
MK got himself a hot uncle
It's HIM! The hot blue daddy! Immediately rocketed to #4 in my fav characters ever.
They remind me the Lego Chima's characters.
Mixed with dbz
4:33 so funny 😂
Finished the show 2 days ago and im crying rn
I know right
That dude had nothing on dbk
He didn't intrude in your plans just living happily with his family but noo azure just had to come in and suck in my fav family all at once .I hate how pathetic they made redson at least they could have given him some sort of anger power up like MK's instead of just making scream and rant like a wimp. Then fine just let him pull one successful punch on azure
Or at least give him a fair exit by making azure not to hold his head like that
@@slychinstudious1758 calm down shawty, u made me even sadder now!! 😢
Take a moment to realize that the main voice actors from Dragon ball Z/Super voice Azure and Wukong
*cutely waits for episode 11*
Really hope he doesn't go insane from the new power-up.
*Cough*This is awkward...
4:34 though I dislike him for his betrayal, I’ll always have a soft spot for Azure
Azure lion is Vegeta!?!?! Naniiiiiiiiiiiii??? OMG
IT FITS. SON WUKONG IS GOKU AND VEGETA IS A LION REPRESENTING PRIDE, YESSSSS
Antagonist just means they go against the protagonists
That's practically the same backstory lbd
Had only hers was more dark and evil
They both fight for what they think is
Right .Lbd standing on the motion that
The world is inpure and needs to be restarted by a clean state and azure basically a freedom fighter at least in his own opinion.I love the villain characterization of this show its not like they're evil they are just bent on their opinions about things .But the end point is that they're notions are wrong
Or atleast despicable in the eyes of the protagonists and on their journey to
obtain their goals they do some very twisted stuff that affects the protagonists in some way or the other or are mean and evil. This is my basic description of a LMK antagonist
0:12: look at this man's face. He's crushing so hard on Wukong. Literally the cutest thing ever. I relate to Azure. I'm a simp for the chimp to.
The way DBK says "Azure Lion" in the beginning is... Does he have something to share with the class??
He is very handsome
0:09 Hello Vegeta/Piccolo/All Might/Yamcha/Shenron/Zoro
This is by far one of the best Lego series right next to Ninjago
Since nobody has ever thought of bringing this up. There are 4 DBZ voice actors in this show.
See if u can identify them.
Monkey King = Goku
Azure Lion = Vegeta
Ne Zha = DBS Broly
Macque = Shallot
What!
4:45 I like this theme
Is it just me or is there no sign of a tail on the Azure lion in every scene? I mean, he's supposed to have a tail right?!? But, maybe it's hidden??? I don't know...😶😞🤔
Maybe it got cut off
in original jttw, he don’t have a tail. So, i think it explains why Azure don’t have a tail in monkie kid.

Ahhh I haven't gotten that far in the story!
Thanks for telling :)
@@baymax3402 ur welcome!!
Azure might is here
Azure Lion is so cool 😎😎😎
The 4:26 - 4:35 😂😂😂 Mk rlly showed his boxers 😂😂
I mostly hear his deep Piccolo voice but when he fights or generally screams I also hear Vegeta in him.
Is no one gonna mention that THAT'S CHRISTOPHER SABAT!
Is that Vegeta's voice actor?
Yup, that is Christopher Sabat
@@fulgurblackhelm9383 I KNEW his voice sounded familiar!!!!
He even looks a bit like Vegeta too.
And last time I checked Goku is monkey kings voice actor
@@beastmaster0934 it’s the hair.
2:07 Chris Sabat forgot he wasn’t playing All Might
واعر مونكي كيت كثيرا شجاع لا يستسلم وانت سوف متى سوف تستسلم
Finally chris sabat shows up to the party lol
Sworn uncle 😭
They had no right to make him this fine tho 🫦
YOUR THE ONE WHO IS CRYING 🥺🥺🥺
I always still hear Piccolo in his voice
I like Azure, He Feels like Hes Not an actual Villian and Genuine in what he said About Wu Kong. My only question is... Is Sun Wu Kong Actually Dead Cause he Scroll Piece was Split or?
Highly doubtful they would (or could) kill Sun Wukong, being un-killable is one of his major characteristics. It's more likely his essence is divided between the two pieces, and if they can find a way to repair it, they can get our monkey back.
god i wish
i want that twink OBLITERATED i want him GONE (affectionate)
"Who's this big zaddy 😻"
Azure is cool
