There's no age limit to singers. It maybe for Rappers but singers have the advantage of crossing over to different genre's esp R&B, Gospel or Neo-Soul. Eddie Levert was putting out songs even when he was in his 70s. He recently was on tour not that long ago. I actually work closely with one of his son's group that he put together known as Dark Blu. Gerald Levert ran a production company calld Trevel Productions back in th day that put together group's. Dark Blu happened to be on th same Soul Train set with Chante Moore and Da brat back in April of 2001. All 5 of the founding members of the group recently reunited a few years ago as they all still sing to this days since they were singed to Capitol records back in the 2000s.

Chante has an AMAZING voice. I remember hearing love's taken over years ago and I was just like WOW. Then she sang a song on the "soul food" soundtrack and i couldn't believe someone could sing like that. I was so jealous. Lol.
