The look on Stu's face when he said "Norm said the pattern is easy" was hilarious. It was a great "are you shitting me?" face. lol Hey, 40 years on the Tour saying the pattern is easy shouldn't make you feel TOO bad.
I know Norm's time is about to end sooner than later, but I hope he bowls until eternity. There is not a soul in the world that hates him or wants him to retire.
Never count these old geezers out. I routinely bowl with guy who used to bowl the PBA Senior Tour, he's 79 now. 200+ average and going strong.
I can see Norm going another 5 or 10 years if he stays active and healthy.
Bowling isnt a physical sport, if you can golf, you can bowl

Words can't quite state how Chill Norm is. Of all the bowling stories I've heard over the last 20 years, all things involving Norm (including my own personal experience) have been nothing but kind.

Norm is my alltime bowling hero, one of the few people who i really wish to meet and get a bowling lesson from. I have had lessons twice from Parker Bohn III when he was over here and they were hosting clinics, and really liked that guy as well
That's so cool to hear. Oddly enough Norm is also my favorite right and Parker is my favorite lefty.
Parker Bohn was hugely influential to me as a teenage bowler in YABA. I wrote him a letter telling him my accomplishments as a teenager, and got a very kind reply with an autographed picture of him. Parker and Norm are amazing ambassadors of bowling.
@@JRSoubasse I have been bowling for 25 years, and i like the style of Parker Bohn and Norm Duke a lot. Same goes for Walter Ray.
It's spectaculair to see Jason Belmonte bowl, and it has brought more viewers to bowling. Just not what i prefer myself to do.
And i have been bowling 2handed stle for 2 years, because i am also a trainer/coach, and i think it's important to learn about other techniques as well
I have had a bowling lesson with Norm. He is not only a great bowler, but he is a super coach, and in addition..he is HILARIOUS!

I love how you all of a sudden have LEGEND Norm Duke goofing off with LEGEND Chris Barnes.
At 10:20, Norm throws a shot that uses the whole lane and strikes. What did he cover there, 20-25 boards? Then at 11:05, Norm throws a shot straight up the lane outside the 5 and strikes again. To be that versatile? ON THAT PATTERN? He's so good it's sick.
Crazy isn't it? He has an insane amount of knowledge on different oil patterns and how to precisely adjust his hand positions and speed on every part of the lane. He also knows exactly what balls to use I mean he's on his own level.
@@Mikey-1990 I mean, I'm a decent league bowler. Low 200s average, got a couple 300s to my name. But these guys are so much better than me all I can do is laugh. It's amazing, just fun to watch.

The glue will set up quicker in the holes when alot of moisture is present before glue is applied. The super glue uses water to get hardened. Your breath will add just enough to set up.

I have that problem when I set my IT drill bit stopper, but when I wrench down my thumb inset goes a little deeper. I have no idea how those truck guys on tour keep up knowing everybody’s thing on drilling. Kudos to them. Keep up the good content. Thank you

love the videos as usual but one thing I would suggest is to invest in a steady cam gimbal to help with the shaky camera work, other than that keep up the good content.
Then buy one and send it to Brad and Kyle, I'm certain they'll appreciate your kindness and input. 😏😁
@@pamelacass9642 , If Brad and Kyle give me the info on what camera etc. they use I would be willing to buy them one (up to a certain amount, I am not sure how much these are), but I would be happy to support them in that way, but they have not asked and they are making money from the channel so it was constructive criticism to try and help them improve their channel. I know your comment was more tongue in cheek but honestly I would help those guys if they asked.

Can you guys make a video on how to build an arsenal? I think it would be helpful to know how a pro would build their arsenal for a pattern that is unknown to the bowler before hand and without the ability to drill a ball when they get to the tourny

I'm off work for the week after Thursday and was hoping to come up from the Cincinnati area and watch some of the tournament but starting Thursday the weather is supposed to get pretty bad in the area. Calling for decent amounts of snow and ice.
Norm is and will always be the true GOAT. He can do shit to a ball that nobody could even imagine. This video proves it and that's why he's the NUMBER 1 seed going into the TV Show Sunday. Amazing Norman.

These great videos have inspired me to pick the game up again after 10 years off the lanes. I used to bowl right-handed but I've always been left-hand dominant. I plan to teach myself to bowl left-handed. It's going to be a complete rebuild of a bowling delivery mentally and physically. I wonder if helpful Brad and Kyle's coaching service could be to me. I was already considering the Storm Trend 2...

I could believe it. Having bowled against him on a relatively flat pattern, the man is on the next level. I think he was the only guy to break 700, and 630 was the cut. He made 240's look easier than my 220's. He only struggled when the lanes started to break down at record pace (having to move in more than 2 arrows in one game)
You need to hire Jesse or someone to travel with you to film and edit. One person could do it for you, DTang, MTang, and Packy/the house channel. You guys can concentrate on bowling and win some titles.
I got the bowl on this pattern in 2017 in Syracuse. Unbelievably tough

What Norm Duke said is true and at least accurate. I did a local regional this past weekend and the oil pattern was Scorpion. During the practice sesh, it seemed a good start was to play my usual down & in line. But after re-oiling & qualifying started, I moved left toward the center and played up 3rd arrow towards the 2nd Arrow range finder.
