You know, HHI isn’t really an harmonica in the background although understandable that through the eyes of the “road crew” the mouth organ is just sales tactic And as for that, “road crew”..? Dylan nor Earle never really tasted the road that they inhabit as purveyors of “ the politically motivated hard life”..BECAUSE I WAS THERE DURING THE SOJOURNS MANY BESIDE THEM SPEAK IF IN SONG and I can’t for the life of me recall ever seeing any of them out there

Allison Moorer's voice is always hauntingly beautiful.
A beautiful song by one of the best songwriters, for me up there with Bob Dylan. Steve Earle writes and sings from the heart.
