We are in San Francisco onboard the American Airlines Airbus A319. The weather today is not that good: low visibility and a huge thunderstorm with dangerous thunders and lightnings.
The effects during the takeoff are amazing: the engine condensation, the wing condensation, the jet wash and the beautiful volumetric lighting (looks stunning with the fog).

The way the airport employees handle the luggage on the carpet is not very realistic. Usually they 'throw' them.

Absolutely right, indeed. I'm blind and have flown from SFO to Atl 5 times, and I've noticed some rough handling of my baggage as well. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who heard that. You really got me, there!

Ah yes, the American Airlines A320i with non-stop service to KJFK from KLAX, KSFO, and other satellite airports. A flight that my father and myself are both intimately familiar as we fly this route for American Airlines just about every week. Great video!
In this video, tow truck disconnected and then cockpit crew started the engines... in real, we start the engines before tow truck disconnects. Tow truck disconnects only when we give him clearance that all engines show "Good" start and that we are good to go.

Except for right in front of the plane where they are so bright you can't see anything.
They're not bright, they just make all the textures white
there's a difference between lighting something up and putting a transparent white film between something and your eyes

The pre takeoff rituals of a pilot are long. Fortunately the video spares you of the pilot performing rituals to Thor in the air terminals back rooms.

Weird thing is I get a "kick" when the engine starts to make the "take off" noise ...exactly as I do IRL.

the water on the ground is thick and usually when heavy vehicles move, they kinda splash water... thirdly there are many many other complications in real world... last hour delays for example because a passenger did not make it to the plane and their luggage is usually has to be located and offloaded... and the weight of the plane after loading has been done. Pilots make last time adjustments on weight, and takeoff speed, takeoff role etc. Many times lengthy delays occur during HUB hours but awesome game.

I don't know if anybody's ever been in a real cockpit but all those buttons there I would have to push.

Umm I don't know why you are saying this is a A319 but this video is showing a 737-800. The easiest give away is the wingtips- Airbus have diamond foils and Boeing have the complete curved winglets.
The planes lights are much better on this than on Xplane 10. which don't actually illuminate any further out than a few feet ahead of the aircraft.
Is it me or were those engines on when the ground unit was Operating!
What an awsome video. Does this simulation require any addons to look that real or does it aready comes with this realism?
Calm down on your rotation mate. It's meant to take 3 seconds to get a 10 degree angle then when gear up 2 seconds up to 15 degrees. Also don't use TOGA on big runways, use flex, this is a derated thrust designed to prolong the life of the engines. Also at 1500ft plus the altitude of the airport you reduce thrust to climb thrust.
This explains why it takes so long
Nah, it takes long because there's always a couple of idiots still in the duty free and their bags are on the plane, they don't show up and the flight crew have to unload all the baggage to get to it to remove them from the plane... Blame duty free :L

At 5:02 how was that American Airliner pushing back... I also did not see any thrust reversers there neither did I see any push back truck.... that was kinda... unusual for me... but rest of the game i awesome...

Is #2 engine actually on during loading of cargo? If so they most give those baggage guys hazardous during pay.

How can you see anything that is written on the buttons ? Its so small!!
What AI packae do you use? And I am not saying it was bad but it was definitely weird the take off from pilot seat you did not see the runway because of all the lights and reflections. You did not see center line and middle runway section which is not normal from my experience atnight take offs.

Really ??? So if is so good then why I can't see rain on windscreen like i was able to see in 2004 ? My last buy was P3D 2.5 and i said that my next will be one with much improvements. Im not willing to pay another £60 for nothing or fancy number 3.3

Check list before take off: Ecam Status. Take off no blue. If auto brakes was on RTO it would work... Nice sim anyway

Great video, but I have to say, for a 2016 sim, the rain still looks awful.
I doubt the would load the luggage with a engine running. It´s not GSX fault :-)
