When Mario possesses--for lack of a better word--something, the thing he possesses gets a mustache. That is a strange-but-interesting touch. I think that sporting the hat would have been good enough. I also noticed that the thing he possesses sports a red hat instead of the hat that the player bought and chose to wear. It would have been a nice touch if they had the thing Mario possesses sport the same hat that the player picked out for Mario.
yeah wouldve been a nice touch but that alone would take a month or more to code, there are 52 enemies, and like 42 hats thats around 2184 different varients of what the in game sprite could look like, that alone could add like 10% of the entire games memory so if they were a little rushed at all i could see it being quite difficult to perform. i definitely think they should have though, the little things make video games
but you still bought it and enjoy playing it no? They made the cheapest best game they could still sell. If you want the best game a developer can make stick to Indie
