The best band of all time for me is Matchbox 20. Saw them for the 1st time last year in Gilford, NH. Literally one of the best days in my life aside from graduating from grad school in 2021. I'm 43 and I loved them in my 20's and their even better now! Love u guys❤

At 58 I have been through the 80s that were amazing then in 1994 stumbled across MB20 on MTV one night and WOW just amazing and still love them in 2024 Best Band of all time

I can relate to this song so well and how when I finally ended my marriage I just didn’t care and couldn’t go another step (mile) further acting like I cared. It’s not cruel but rather self preservation and letting the other person go for their own benefit to find their “person” who cared.

I came to Matchbox Twenty after hearing Mad Season on the radio so many years ago and realising it was the guy who sang Smooth with Santana. Stayed for this song. It never fails to pull the emotion out of me. I have no personal experience that it resonates with, but I do have a very narrative imagination, this song paints a picture in my imagination.
