X's are used in scoring; how do you think ties are resolved after 10s have been counted? I've never said that a 9 isn't a gold?! Where have you got that from? All I am saying is that 9s, 10s, or Xs ARE golds, and AREN'T bullseyes -- a bullseye is from darts terminology, not archery.

Yes, I know... But it is a gold. He's right that it's not a bullseye though, bullseye is less correct than using the collective term 'gold'. Really the commentator should just call it a 10, or X10.

humphrey peek It really depends, most people say x when archers get their arrows in the middle, but it is count as a 10. World archery calls it a x ring, not pin ring

Brady Ellison dosent seem to be the archer he is made out to be. I dont know how he was number 1 in the world weather he is past his best days or i am just missing something but there are much more talented archers out there. Don't Hate me on that
