How do people find this stuff? Is it by chance? Do some people just go afk on the cannons and see the little crystals spawning? Or do they go secret hunting? Really awesome I must say. Props to them!

The papers you place them on give hints. That’s how I found them! I definitely wasn’t the first by any stretch though

I found all of them myself very easily the papers tell you exactly where they are and from those hints it isn’t difficult to work out what to do
