That's a clever NVR. My immediate thought would be to have this mounted in a fashion where solar could be leveraged to charge batteries and ultimately power this for use at a construction site.
Great Video, one thing we are having issues with is the reviewing of downloaded video files over MS Stream. Stream does not like the bit rates of the video files or the Audio rates within the exported MP4 files. Is this something that can be changed in the Picture tab or other settings? Or is it selectable when exporting (Backing Up) sections of video? I am trying to avoid having to re-encode them after download as out Fleet department are not to IT savey; I am trying to provide them with a simple guide. Many thanks

I'm installing a CCTV system in a car. dvr//camera/router// a system used in homes. all equipment uses 12vdc. My question is the following: the car battery oscillates between 12v and 14.5v. I can connect directly to the battery. Or do I need to use something to stabilize the voltage!?! thanks.!
Do you need a static ip 4g sim card with your CCTV system to be able to connect via Hik-connect remotely? Or is the regular sim card okay to land in that module?
How to take backup on ds-m7508 while it has only one usb port or esata . If usb mouse has used on it then where I could place the external storage (flash ,sdcard) etc.. PLEASE help

Hey hope all is ok , if its not available you can use a 4G router and connect the device into this and use the free HIK-connect method, we still use this a lot also in the UK 😊

The input Voltage says 9 to 32 VDC Wide power Input
Does hikvision have 4g router for mobile use or to be able to connect any device to iy, so you can have it in a outdoor box?
We have mobile recorders with 4G / WI-Fi built in , so just use that 😊
