I've recently discovered your channel because I was watching all the videos I could find about the boss katana mkii since it is my dream amplifier. I will be buying one when I have money but too bad I cant right now because of 1. Nobody in family supports me being passionate to music they just bought me a guitar and Im still thankful for that and then I'm on my own where It took me 2 yrs to buy a $100 2nd owned amplifier (I guess 3rd world country problems!) 2. Im a student that doesnt earn anything but however when the time comes I will be following my dreams creating youtube guitar content or any guitar related stuff and just by seeing your vid comparison abt the katana mkii vs the artist version, I can see the genuinity and the honesty in the videos you make and not a lot of guitar youtubers are like you because they mostly do it for the money/advertising that's why they will make the products they demo sound the best just for you to buy it and for me I do not like those kinds of stuff. Thank you for still making videos up to this date. I was kinda worried you stopped making because the katana video is 2 yrs old. I will be binge watching all of your videos and will deadass not forget to like a single video you upload!
@@TheGuitarGeek I play mostly rock! So cool for you to reply to me! But yeah for me the katana offers a lot more cool tones and effects to work on my music with that kind of price! I'm eyeing to buy the katana mkii 50 when I have the money. Do you sir have an idea if how can I record myself and my future katana when I have one directly to my computer? Will I be okay to directly plug it in computer and record kinda like using the amplifier as an audio interface? Since I dont really have money for a focusrite a.i let alone the mkii 50w will take me a year to earn for xd! Thanks!

Love this! I could listen to you all day... :) Does the ATEM Mini Pro allow you to record the input from all those cameras? As far as I can tell, that's one of the main differences between the Mini and the Mini Pro.... but it seems it can only record to a separate drive, not directly to your computer, do I have that right? I understand cameras, but not the cacophony of cables, connectors, switchers, hubs, etc.... 🤣🤣
Haha so you basically built the setup I'm building right now. Though I do so many creative choices WHILE editing that I don't think I'll be recording it all directly. We'll see!

Is it possible to do a screen grab and lets say feature a youtube video and incorporate that while you have a picture in picture of your main camera showing your reaction? And is it possible to use one of the HDMI inputs occupy another laptop or essentially a production computer. I would love to use the ATEM mini pro while I do live productions running off of my mac and all the while record the whole thing so i can edit it down later in FCPX and re upload onto my youtube channel. how is the ipad app working out? does it allow you to load video clips in and trigger them to play? your setup seems to work well, and I am trying to set up something similar.

Lastly, how easy / difficult is the Software to use from Blackmagic for the ATEM to make this all come together. I’m looking to buy the Pro ISO . I am a Drummer looking to make cover , lessons, etc multicam videos. I’ll be using a Behringer X32 for the multitrack audio . Thoughts, suggestions? THANKS !

You need to pro iso to be able to do that

The cameras do not need to be recording. The atem accepts the HDMI signal.

I’m now using cam links and ecamm live as I want the Videos to be 4K. for 1080 though, I’d use the Atem mini pro iso for sure
