Upper Radiator Hose is an option on my website, it WILL fit with the stock hose but there will be increased heat transfer so the relocated upper hose option is highly recommended. Also a relocation kit is not necessary on these cars. Simply unbolt the battery tray, and the battery will sit down on the subframe braced against the lower radiator hose with extremely minimal movement. You just have to flip the battery around so the cables will reach. I have ran it here with countless track days and 40K miles of daily driving with zero issues and know multiple people with the same setup.
I’ve personally driven with the headlight intake in a Florida monsoon at highway speeds and luckily didn’t have any issues but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. If you find yourself in a rain storm you can simply disconnect a coupler and run it as a short ram taking in air under the hood
Since the piping diameter is the same it would only be a very small change in airflow without the velocity stack. May result in a very slightly richer mixture and slightly higher air temps but not enough to make a huge difference or hurt the engine
will be buying this soon -trent

So sick, not a good idea to run it like that when it’s raining right? 😂

@@staticspeedtuning would the car run weird tho if you switch it to a “Sri” style if the car was tuned for a “cai” style?
