If you have Amazon Prime, a great sci-fi movie you don't hear about these days is the original Rollerball from 1975, starring James Caan. It still holds up surprisingly well, considering it's nearly a half century old!
I disagree. We need to leave the classics alone, especially with as bad and uncontrollably political as Hollywood writers have become. They'd likely ruin it.
Faculty is such a great teen horror movie that still holds up. XFiles is an easy fave. Limitless is still one of my favorite Bradley cooper movies except for that messy ending. Vanilla sky is a pale remake of the spanish original. Open your eyes. both with penelope cruz. Too complex for cameron crowe
A handful of movies turned into books? Not sure what you meant by that pertaining to Michael Crichton... Jurassic Park and most of his other stories were books long before they were movies... Congo, 13th Warrior (the book title was Eaters of the Dead) , Disclosure, Rising Sun...

End of movie he survived in floor vault after detonating very large explosive! hope that's enough, and Thank you in advance!
