I no longer talk to a woman I used to call a friend when I found out she dumped both oh her kids rabbits out in the woods. Sickening. So glad you were able to bring Felix to safe place!!! Beautiful little guy!!!
It makes me so sad to know people actually just straight up dump their bunnies. But it makes me happy to know there are kind people like you out there willing to rescue those poor rabbits. ❤
@@TigerwomanXsweden I dont think it will help with this. Idiots think bunnies can just be dumped in the wild since there are wild bunnies. The thing is, bunnies are pets have lost most of their instinct and ability to survive in the wild. They are not even the same anamal as US rabbits. Bunnies get dumped and must be so scared and confused as to why the yare outside and their humans are gone. I could never imagine letting anything happen to my bunnies I love them way too much.
@@vismortis When my rabbit got cancer, we cared for her day and night and took her to the vets 3 times before she died! She was never abandoned even when she became sick. I used to snuggle up to her in my bed and kiss her face and neck. I used to hand feed her and stroke her ears and back. She was so cute and she lived until she was nearly 9 even though she was only supposed to last for 4-6 years! I don't care how much of a burden a pet becomes, when you buy it you accept responsibility for it for the rest of it's life!!!!
What a wonderful and inspiring rescue! It obviously took a lot of time and patience since it was dark when the bun was rescued. You are so compassionate and never give up. The rescue videos are so heartwarming. Great rescue!
Oh my gosh, this made me cry and go cuddle my bunny. 😭 How can people have no hearts, to just dump their pets out. Thank you so much for rescuing him, I was so happy to see how everyone worked together to get this baby to safety. Hope he gets adopted soon 🙏🏻 ❤
That was the most amazing thing I have seen! I almost cried when I first saw the bunny that he was living in such a place and the audacity that another human being could do such a thing. Andrew! Ur a hero and the all of you are given kudos for going up there to save it. Teamwork!!! hope Felix finds a good home or has found a home!
This breaks my heart. My partner and I have 7 bunnies and 4 babies we have rescued. I love them. We are converting the garage into a bunny heaven. And homes for babies. Love this channel. High five from uk 🇬🇧 xxxx
Thank you all for this heart warming rescue. I’ve been feeling a bit of depression lately and this was great medicine for my heart. Unfortunately beautiful bunnies are routinely dumped/ treated like throwaway animals or taken to a pound. Either way it’s a death sentence. Rabbits are the most misunderstood domestic animals.🐰❤️
In February I adopted my second rabbit from a shelter close to me. She was found dumped by someone on the side of the road, but I’m so happy she found a safe place in my home so seeing the poor bunnies getting dumped really hits home to me. 😢
Thanks! At quick glance of the picture of the bunny, I ACTUALLY thought it was my Annie! She was my 2nd bunny and 2nd rescue. When I adopted her she had to be AT LEAST 2 years old. She was dumped by her owners and rescued by the ASPCA between Nov-Dec 2008. At that time she was a full size, 9 pound, unspayed female. I assume she was an Easter "present" (SMH), got too large and/or too much work. After being with the ASPCA for 3 months, Hug-a-Bunny Rabbit Rescue in NJ adopted her. They had gotten her spayed, placed her in foster care, and put her up for adoption on the pet finder website. She was quite popular as 5 other people had tried to adopt her, but they were turned down. Annie had some aggression issues that were "less desirable" qualities. Hug-a-Bunny wanted to make sure she was going to be placed FOREVER. When I inquired about her, I explained that my bunny had just passed away a month prior due to a complication of spay surgery. I explained how Sophie became highly aggressive because she was unspayed. Since I had experience with a highly aggressive bun, they agreed that Annie had found her FOREVER home with me. Felix looks almost identical to Annie! (Minus the lionhead part!) Annie was part mini-lop and part "large unknown breed". But she had identical overly large ears, identical facial markings around the nose, and identical all white with some tan/fawn coloring on her backside! One large difference is that she had helicopter ears! BUT I SWEAR HE LOOKS JUST LIKE HER! This video brought tears to my eyes! I actually cried and wondered if that's what it was like for Annie. THANK YOU LORELEI for this video and THANK YOU EVERYONE INVOLVED!!! THIS WAS SO PRECIOUS AND REALLY TOUCHED MY HEART!!!!
My bun was dumped on or near my property. I came home from work 12/03/16, and she was sitting in my front yard munching on grass. Had no idea what to do, and knew she wouldn’t survive the night on her own, due to nesting barred owls on the property. Luckily, she let me approach her, cautiously at first, then ran right up to me, and let me pick her up. Initially, I didn’t think I could keep her, as I had several cats. She stayed with a friend for a couple of nights, until I could find a rescue. Something compelled me to try and adopt her, myself. I researched it, bought everything she would need, then brought her home. She was kenneled at night, and while I was at work, for her safety. The cats accepted her, and she formed a strong bond with me. I named her Josephine. She became my constant companion. We had seven years together, but a tumor deep in her digestive tract, claimed her right before Thanksgiving 2023. She was the best Christmas present I ever received. I owe a debt of gratitude to whomever abandoned her. Ei
Thank you for rescuing this rabbit. 3 of my rabbits have been resucues. The bun appears to have some Rex in w/ the Lionhead. Bless you all for taking care of them.
I plan on getting a bunny hopefully less than a year from now, and I'm going to love and spoil it rotten. I could NEVER have the heart to dump a bunny. Thank you so much for saving them. You are a hero.
My son got a parakeet for his birthday a few months ago and i wasnt sure how he and our bun would get along. I left the bird cage on the floor with the bird in it so they could get to know each other. A few days later i opened the bird cage. The bird went right up to bun bun and they sniffed each other. Now, months later, they get along great. Even hang out in bun bun's cage. The bird sits on topvof the cage and bun bun lays inside and just takes a nap
Aw, that's so cute! Birds have no sense of smell, btw. What a cute visual though- the bunny chillin in the bird cage with the birdie on top. oops, bunny's cage! Just as cute, lol
My lutino Indian ringneck parakeet (India) passed last year from cancer--the day before Queen Elizabeth passed. She liked to go walkabout on the kitchen floor along with Eeyore, my mini lop. It looked like an Easter parade. The two got along fine. I sense that Eeyore misses her.
