I don't like titanium on dress watches. It scratches easily and just doesn't look as good as stainless steel. The reason why the second hand doesn't align is because the wheels inside is made for temperature change. There is a little space between them so that if the metal expands, it doesn't stop or break. Ot is actually a sign of quality. On expensive watches the have technology compensating for that, but not at this price range. People always complain about that and thinks it is because it is badly made.😅
You did fine with your new setup 😉. Guess I've been lucky. Over the years I've had a variety of titanium Seiko's. Only have one left in my collection - a Kinetic AGS Scuba. Two in particular that I regret selling: 1) Le Grand Sport SLC033. 2) Kinetic 5M43-0B69 w/full lumed dial.
Just checked my quartz Seiko, same misalignment as yours but until you pointed it out I had not noticed... just checked my £2 aliexp quartz, perfect alignment as well as perfect timekeeping, the Seiko is out about ten seconds over a year. UK Amazon has it at £213, the photo does show it as misaligned as well.
Hi, is the band stainless steel or titanium? There seems to be two version of SUR377P1, one with stainless steel band and another more expensive version with titanium band.
I once heard that all casio watches have a perfect second hand alignement because they are fully made by machines. that might also be the case for citizen. and if Seiko assembles them by hand that would explain the missing of second markers. also the reason why swiss watches tend to miss the second marks even though cheap casio's hit it perfectky. i guess they are too proud to let a machines do the work and just accept the missing seconds
Great watch. Was always on my radar but not for €400,00. You had a good deal. Unbelievable that there are still folded endlinks, a cheap clasp and the seconds hand misses al the markers....
For that money don’t buy it, it was my first watch. It’s not the best, the bracelet is not that great and also the dial is not that nice. Also i wouldn’t get a quartz now anymore. Got the PRX automatic a few months after this and that watch is soo much better in every aspect.
Seiko will not fix there alignment and defects and quality control on there watches if you guys continue to buy them like sheep and accept the quality control and alignment defects issues Stop being seiko and you'll see them fix it asap.
Therein lies the misconception. Seiko misalign their watches intentionally as proof that they are original Seikos. If your Seiko somehow is well-aligned, you been duped with a fake! 😆
Seiko has become my new hero for making higher end features available on lower cost watches.

Just got one for 190$, looking forward to it arriving. Thanks for the review!
I own this watch, and it's one of my favourites. It's very light, very comfortable and looks fantastic. And the second hands align perfectly on mine.
Duude! When there's gold trim on a titanium watch; there's no better Dial color than a dark sunburst Green ⌚😎🤙
Can you please give a long term review? Does it scratch easily? Also whats your wrist size?

5:20 44mm case?😮
Amazing video you have to be one of the best and most entertaining watch reviewers out there been loving the videos for a good while 👍
The diameter should be 40mm
Cool watch but I wish they would have used a VH31 or its date equivalent here.
You’re a “bad influence”. I just ordered one thru your link. They’ve gone up $20, but are still a great bargain. Nice review. “You sold me.” Thanks!

Steady piece, plain without gold for me though, did the case measure 44mm diameter, most retailers say 40mm inc Amazon uk
I have the SUR373 and it's 40mm.
i have this watch, the second hand hits the mark perfectly, the watch is so light weight its very comfortable.. 8:50
Cool looking timepiece !
That doll looks like it could be hard to read Am I corrector is it just the camera that's causing the issue
Sounds like a good change to the Seiko bracelet
Pity about the seconds hand alignment but at least the bracelet is not their usual folded link / hair remover...
Damn you Seiko for not aligning the second hand. I really want this watch but can't live with that issue. Not even for $170

titanium
Battery Lasts 3 Years ?😊
Thanks for Seiko, friend!

@@SwissSeiko He got on sale for 177. He says it retails for 370.
Why are you wearing it on your hand
Where else would I would wear it?
@@maverickwatchreviews your feet, obviously.

Casio, let alone Citizen, can achieve alignment with their lowest-end watches. Shame on you, Seiko. The "L" probably stands for "Luh-hoo-se-her!" 😆

Doesnt look 44mm
40mm
this watch is 370$ on their website now, why did it jump so much?
In my county it is only 250$
Hey buddy 👍

Just bought one for 230.
