I'm looking to purchase either the CVO SG or Limited this season. Never thought I'd like purple, but that's a classy paint job!
better start trying to locate one now....had trouble finding a what i wanted the first 2 hours on release day...dealerships do not want to give them up.....had 2021 road glide blackhole shipped from Florida to nj....they kept calling me to see if i changed my mind.....NOPE....getting it on Tuesday.......

Thanks for the video Matt. I have a 2019 ultra limited and the comfort on those bike are top notch. Of the colors for the 2021 CVO ultra limited I like the Bronze the best.

Nice Version but disappointed that it didnt come with the 122 or 131 for it being a CVO Also. Disappointed on the Radio only upgrade on Street and Road glide..

I’ve got the 20 limited cvo and love it. In the 21 I like the purple with all the chrome but, I like chrome.

Saaaaaaaame! The 2016 RG ultra CVOs were awesome and I feel like the new RG limiteds would absolutely shine with the CVO treatment.
I like chrome too and I love my 2020 midnight blue street glide but I totally dig the bronze. Great review Matt.

Beautiful bikes, especially the Bronze Armor bike. I really like the seats and hopped up engine but I would be happy with a blacked out Ultra Limited.

Great review Matt. Purple / black is gorgeous. I just pulled the trigger on CVO sunset Road Glide being delivered mid-March. Black was just too much black and I can’t stomach the stripping and standard bags. Bronze was temping but I would like it better without all the bronze accents. Thanks!
Both beautiful bikes, but I prefer the Bronze Armor. I always wonder about airflow on a lot of these baggers and touring bikes. Could you do a video showing where you can direct the airflow on the different bikes to allow more air or block air in hot or cool weather. Thanks.
The Royal Purple looks great to me , these are expensive but IMO worth the cost , I own a 2019 CVO Street Glide it is a bike that puts a smile on my face every time I take it out for a ride thanks for the video
It's hard to describe that smile, but I know it well. I can't afford $40K for a bike, so I scoured the used market for nearly a year until I found a Limited 4 years old and saved $30K. Big smiles all around!

I so totally get what you’re saying. I almost considered getting a CVO this year, but I decided against it for the very reason you mentioned and because I put about 20k miles per year on my bike. I went for the Ultra Limited, but not the CVO model. If I buy a work of art like that, I want to keep it in perfect condition and not put as many miles on it as I do.
I ride with several who have CVOs and lay down the miles on them. You only live once, might as well enjoy the ride.
Definitely not a blue collar or young rider bike.
Harley-"we need to pull in young riders boost existing rider sales" Also Harley- "lets do a big push on bikes almost no young riders and very few existing riders can buy.
@@RevJay_Rides I’m with you, a CVO would have to be my second bike. Living in Massachusetts, riding through winters as I do, when I can and just the amount I ride takes a toll on my Night Train, no matter how meticulous I am. New knicks pop up every week and the roads are unforgiving, driving at night you will hit pot holes eventually and your rims will take a beaten. Now if I lived out west, whole different story. Also unless you have a heated garage, you’re not stopping oxidation. I’d rather a slightly used for 20g’s with 20g’s in performance, I could live with that, as I do on my Train, got three times what it’s worth in performance upgrades and i smile every time I get froggy on the wick.

Hard to tell on the TV but the purple and black looks like a winner. I’d like to see one in person. Nice bike, I’d love to have one.
A great bike. Bronze Armor is the color I would get. The bronze exhaust headers look sweet. I’m still waiting for HD to release a model with ride modes. As well as an electric adjustable windshield. I’m sure they are working on it.
Had to sell my bike in 2012 because of my ex-wife, never doing that again for anyone. Hoping to get on a low rider s or road king special next year... leaning towards the low rider s but damn that CVO limited looks sweet lol
I made the same mistake, except I had to give up pets. If a potential wife makes you give up pets, bike, friends, and especially family, you are dealing with somebody who has Borderline Personality Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, or some sort of phucking disorder.

Matt, I live and die by my Sat radio on both my 2014 Ultra and 2021 Road Glide Limited. On a long haul, its nice to have music!
Definitely used to get much more for your money in a CVO in 2016 than today. You get all of the features except central locking in. Non-CVO limited. Harley must improve bang for your buck.
Not exactly true. Despite a few thousand in decorations and gadgets there is also fit and finish.
Try to get your dealer to put the CVO side by side with the 2021 Ultra limited and you will see a major difference in quality control.
I got the ultra limited in 2020 traded from a 2017 CVO limited and immediately regretted not getting another CVO as some of the hardware and panels are thrown together half-ass on the UL. I didnt care for the sanddune paint job or i would have gone back and swapped.
All easily upgraded and fixed but the cost is about a wash compared to just paying for it up front.
Personally the purple /black. Really like the wheels a lot. Key fob and the push button saddlebag locks are badass
What side are you on concerning the hydraulic vs cable clutch debate? I'm a hydraulic clutch fan. No adjusting, and I believe it's easier on your left hand when shifting and stop and go traffic.
The bronze is magnificent!
The garage door opener sells it for me. Was hoping Harley would offer a couple of selections for the controls. Would be nice if they gave you a choice other than the Kahuna.
My god this bike is beautiful. Crazy to think this thing is another $16k more expensive then my customized Road King.
Still wouldn't trade though. I love my bike.
What's with the inner leg fairing around 3:30? Looks like it's coming off/not attached properly
In my eyes the CVO Ultra Limited has been the matriarch of Harley Davidson Touring. Nothing can beat it especially riding up the centre of Australia. Sad to see they didn't include the new stereo system. The CB Radio has been obsolete in Australia for years as we use UHF radio. The cable headset has proven more reliable for me on my 2017 Ultra as the wireless systems don't like heavy rain, I've done 2 sets on mine through water ingress. Will go for a CVO one day, I'm just over purple from previous Harleys but a fan of chrome (black paint is cheap and chips off easily) and will always love my HD.

Looks like they FINALLY blacked out the kickstand (jiffy stand) on the blacked out bikes. Not a fan of purple but it sure works on this Bike!
In my opinion, I think the CVO Limited with the Royal purple and black paint scheme is the prettiest bike I’ve ever laid my eyes on coming out of the factory. Period.

As always matt, a detailed overview of the 2021 Model Year Harley-Davidson CVO Limited to costly for me i am retiring July 1. I have made up my mind with your help, a Touring bike 2021 Road King, Black with a windshield, 16" apes 1"1/2 chubbys, chrome forks, fat spoke rims, stage 1, dual exhaust, 24" twisted steel sissy bar, 2 up seat contour to the bike, that way I can put all the touring stuff on with the wife, strip it down when I am wanting to run around town look cool, than I can buy all the chrome I want over time.. because I have a chrome addiction. lol! I am glad Harley went back to the clutch cable, its easier to control and adjust. Thanks for all your reviews, they very helpful to understand all the new things the bike has to offer.

Hey Matt, I have a 2020 CVO Limited in smokey grey/storm cloud that I absolutely love. I think both of the 2021 colors look really nice. However, if I were purchasing a 2021 I would definitely go with the Royal Purple fade. I just think that color with the chrome looks absolutely fantastic. Just a real regal look in my opinion. Can I have two??

These bikes are really awesome Matt. However I think that depending on your tastes and wants I would go with Road / Street Glide special and just do the bolt on 131ci and desired accessories / bars and you would still come in at or under the CVO price tag.
Love the CVOs!! is that pad on the seat under the backrest, removable??

Does the CVO Limited have enough rear suspension travel to keep a passenger comfortable? I see some SGS owners are upgrading the rear for more travel and comfort and wondering if that carries over to the CVO Limited.
Why did harley change the ecm? Is it a different manufacturer? Or for euro emissions . Does it work better or just incompatable with the aftermarket tuners?
Matt I’m up in Chico and I got the royal purple and royal black version two weeks ago. It was an upgrade from my 19 Heritage Softail 114. I really love the ride and handling. When riding it feels really well balanced and nimble. I personally am bummed about the lack of XM because I have that service and now I have to pay extra to get it installed. Other that that little thing the bike is amaizing
You can't stream XM via phone?
@@rgh622 sure if I have cell service. Nor Cal has plenary of riding areas without service. Radio stations don’t work as well so I have some songs saved on my phone but then I repeat lol. XM works unless I’m in the thick of the forest.

They are beautiful, so much that if I bought one it would have to be my second bike or else it’ll get destroyed here in Boston between the roads and weather. Also, if you don’t have a heated garage, oxidation is inevitable. That being said, I like the bronze, I think. I’d like to see that purple blue when the sun is setting. I like them for long touring but the weight counts me out perhaps i could hire one for a holiday and use my breakout for the daily rides.
I thought the cvo has the Rocksford Fosgate system?
Sounds like the amp can’t handle all the speakers the limited or my 6 speaker set up has. Rockford sounds like a scam if they can’t equip the top of the line.Boom stage 2 is actually better than the stage one, on that bike it should have 1200 watts, 600 for the 4 speakers.

OMG! Someone removed the SYN3 sticker from the Bronze Armor CVO's primary cover. I thought it was like a mattress tag, "REMOVAL BY CUSTOMER ONLY"?
Wish they would make a non bagger CVO. Like imagine a CVO 1200 or a CVO Fat Boy. That would be cool IMO.
They do make a Fatboy CVO, older now but it exists.

I want a CVO Road Glide Limited. Any chance that this combination will be available in 2022? The last CVO RGL that I remember was in 2016. In any case, it wasn't available for the last 2 years as far as I know. I currently own a 2020 RGL in billiard red and black. I absolutely love the bike but its still not a CVO. I bought the bike in October of 2020 and already have almost 16,000 miles on it. I also put a Stage III package in it. Not sure what the HP is because I haven't put it on a dyno but the power and torque is very adequate.
a few too many excuses for the power train... I am really hoping the Revolution Max motor gets more applications quickly.
with regards to these CVO's, I really wish the brake discs were larger as they look tiny compared to the wheels but the premium charged over regular models is not justifiable mainly because they really should be sporting the 131 because an upgrade stereo and add ons really doesn't cut it.
but limited numbers, how many is that per bike?
Don't know why HD didn't use the normal CVO tank with the illuminated dash. Seems like a swing and a miss. Not to mention no stretched bags...

I love the bronze armor color. I also think that for the price, that it should come with the 131 engine. Also, the SiriusXM radio should have been included.

I have the 2019 CVO limited in gray and naturally like the bronze armor. The CB came in handy with the old die hards on an over the road to a rally in Colorado, and I really enjoy having the XM radio. Long distance riding means no decent music without it in those places not covered by the web. Same cost without the same benefits. The audio system is really good, but can't believe they didn't upgrade to Fosgate with the CVO. That's a step down from premium.

Id put money down for a Lowrider S CVO, FXRT fairing, Custom with Blue Tooth Audio and Speakers, maybe Lower leg fairings, T bars, LED lighting, Hard saddlebags, with 117 M8, Brembo brakes, and maybe a tour pack. One can only hope for something like this 🙌🏻
Just sold my 18 ultra 😭😭😭 but that bronze armour will be the next on the list, cant beat an ultra glide

A thing of beauty, pity I'm not likely to ever be able to afford it. I'll settle for my gen 2, Stage 4, 2020 FXLRS. However, if I were to win the lottery these would be a consideration. However, I love the purple, but I hate chrome. In a perfect world I'd want the purple paint scheme with the blacked out looks of the bronze version. Ah well, dreams!
Both bikes look a lot better in this video than they do on HD’s website. The purple bike looks classic whereas the bronze armor looks very modern. I am not sure which one I like better.
For my taste they have gotten the Road Glide CVO right for like 4 years in a row now
