I appreciate David's insights on various topics, although he appears to have limitations in NFL, NBA, and College Football discussions. I tend to skip those segments on his podcast. However, it's valuable to have someone like Pablo who can provide a balanced perspective and simplify things for David in a calm manner. If David acknowledged his areas of limited knowledge or ignorance with humility, it would enhance the show, allowing viewers to learn alongside him.
He is owned by the machine. $$$$ is all he knows. Seems like a decent guy. Although either living his life with blinders on or corrupt as fuc. And this from a guy who enjoys his show.
As usual Samson makes definitive statements with no foundation & no pushback, gotta love his ability to convince the world of the brilliance of his new clothes....
The point is that the companies are only sharing their content with each other, not that they have exclusive rights. It's price fixing, cartel behavior.
David has a valuable perspective and while yes his expertise is in the business of baseball and not exactly every sport but there is enough common ground to make his pov worth listening to.
Skipper sounds like a such a detached executive when he says that any College Football fan would rather see their team just play in a Super League than play against teams with whom they have historic matchups and rivalries. Thats the whole point of College Football, the fandom and rivalries. Thats why the Super League in Europe failed.
9:31 So because Joe viewer doesn't want to watch some non power 5 team in the playoff, those teams shouldn't have a chance? That's an asinine, elitist thought. It sounds like something Samson would say and not Skipper.
When skipper talks, all I can think of is a cartoon moose talking to me about sports business
Staaaahp😂
Now I can't unhear that.
He sounds a bit like Foghorn Leghorn...
He does have some Bullwinkle in his voice 😂😂😂

Samson in one week has defended surge pricing & private equity. Dude makes my skin scrawl.
He's a creeper for sure.

All that's missing when Skipper talks is, "Boy, I say looky here boy"...He sounds like Foghorn Leghorn...😃🤣😭
Always such an insightful discussion. Thanks. I really look forward to these
So these companies which are public universities, are the citizens of those states shareholders? What is their payout?
This is one of the best shows out love the three of them
If David could actually see things from a different point of view, he'd understand so much more of the world than he does.
You can say that about almost anyone
He understands the world of corporate finance. Very few people have made money being empathetic.
Then buy him stilts
Let’s not forget that most of the schools in the major conferences are state schools, not private entities.
I really enjoyed this. I think there may be something wrong with me.

David Sampson makes my ulcers act up; more than Mike Ryan and Stephen A Smith...
you may be allergic to BS!
David makes so much sense, based on economic principles
Not Jeremy Foley getting called out by Skipper 😂😂😂
David Samson is out of his league. He knows very little about college football yet is trying to act like he has the answers. Typical elite attitude.
I enjoy listening to him to remind myself the rich and stupid are rich and stupid
David has a valuable perspective and while yes his expertise is in the business of baseball and not exactly every sport but there is enough common ground to make his pov worth listening to.
@@ricardosalazar420calling rich people stupid makes you seem pretty dumb
He knows about business which was the only thing he was arguing about, not the actual football itself
Skip was off as well. Super league not likely to happen.
They BOTH missed that FUBU joke.
I seen it tho 😂
6-7 is perfect to me, after 7 I’ll be honest, I don’t think after that you have teams that really are gonna be competitive in a playoff
22:53 upgrades to the stadium are happening right now.
I want live streamed Sampson V. Skipper, bottle of Jack, shot after each point made and bare knuckles
No club posted despite it being mentioned.
Can you make this show its own channel please
Not a fan, but thinking Notre Dame wouldn’t be happy with the 3,3,3,3 idea. At all. Never leverage the future for the present. Ever.
David "Everything Is A Company" Samson
These guys consistently make me hate capitalism even more than I already did
So what you're saying. Is the 5th best team in the AFC deserves to go to the playoffs more than the best team in the XFL. Shocking news to David.
The bigger question will always be why ppl think there is a PURPOSE in AFC teams competing in the same league as XFL teams 🤷🏿♂️

You gotta have this podcast be something else other than arguing semantics. It’s getting old quick…
BTW Skipper, the Wimbeldon "Futbol" franchise ended operations years ago.
This one fell a little flat. It's all hypotheticals. You're welcome.

Love this podcast. I say this with every episode. Sports....Money.....Sponey
H/T Chris
Skipper should be running fucking Disney. Very funny how much of joke corporate bullshit is lol
These two guest are incredibly boring, uninteresting, and honestly though to listen to
