I annotate with tabs, highlighters, and I write in my books. But really only nonfiction and literary fiction. I also have a reading journal for books that really affect me.
Great ideas ☺️ thank you for sharing. I write in my books at the moment however I’m trying look for ideas on what others do to keep their notes and not write in their books. I want to give it a try.
Awesome, I hope it works well for you! I have since found it's really nice to take the post-its out and put them in my book journal so I don't have to rewrite everything.
What a great idea! I don’t annotate, but I think I would at least like to start noting characters. When a book has a lot of characters I sometimes have a hard time keeping track of who’s who. This would be very helpful to do especially with series, I could transfer the notes to the next book! Thanks!
Hey girl!!! Those are some neat ideals I’ve never tried that over the years I pretty well remembered a lot of what I had read and enjoyed Even in school I hardly ever had homework to do for I did it in study hall and remembered it I’m not sure how good I am today though!! Lol Love you… ✌️❤️❤️❤️✌️
Michele, that was wonderful and so helpful. I am not so organized. So bits of paper are here and there in my purse and cross stitch bag, as I always take a book wherever I go. I even jot in my journal all, of which everything gets recorded in there. I am hopeless, lol. Help!!! 🤣🤦♀️🤪
I don't annotate books but it I may start after watching this, would love to see how you do your book journal.
This is a unique way to annotate...ill try it out...it will be interesting to see how it works for me.

@@BooksCauseInsomnia it’s a great idea also! I saw it in someone else’s video too about putting the sticky note in the journal.
I love the purple notes and how you keep it "secret" to avoid spoilers
Interesting way to read books. You’re so organized.

Looks like a good system to me! I just write in my books though I plan to use a notebook/ chart to follow the 100 year book in December:)
