I don't think you can go wrong with any of the main MV's. I'm agreeing to the ones listed. Scream came in before Boca, and is what got me 100% into Dreamcatcher. Deja Vu is a masterpiece of an MV. "What" is probably their most underrated viewed one but has the most Album sales pre 2020. But the B Sides is where more the dreams are at XD As they cover different types of Genres. InSomnia Forever (Esosa) I can definitely see how they would be popular in Europe. It's not similar style music but it does feel adjacent to groups like Within Temptation and Nightwish. Not the same but like cousins or something haha. I don't know, something in this song reminds me of those two groups. Or maybe it's just purely based on the name haha 😂 either way I'm hooked.

It’s not that they’re not afraid to experiment. They were _very_ scared before their re-debut, and I think they still are worried, each and every time. But they do it anyway. And I actually respect that much more.

It's not Insomniac, but InSomnia. It means In Dreams. But yes you should a listening party. But you will have to do more than 1. 1 for all the title tracks and than you still have all the b-sides and covers they did, also tons of dance videos.
Ah thanks for the correction! We will definitely do several listening parties. We will have to do live performances as well. Pretty exciting to see so much content. We are pretty sad we are just getting into them now. They were in Brussels last year and we didn't go 🥺 such a shame.

You guys should stick with Dreamcatcher. The views are the best they have ever been, but of course still not as good as the top 3 girl groups. But if you like creativity and individuality in music, you almost have no choice, you must stan Dreamcatcher! 😉 And they have a great message: Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("freak behind the mask" from Scream). Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome!

berk Esosa here, can’t really say much about those groups because I’m not so familiar with this generation of girl groups but if there is a girl group I would stan then it’s this one. For sure.

The quality of the video is top notch. And yes, they are pretty underrated in Korea. Still no first win in a music show. Their title tracks have rock elements and concept is pretty edgy and unusual for a girl group. Their growth is steady. Fan base is doubling each comeback. 87k album sold for Lose Myself, their highest so far, so I definitely recommend that.
@@DifferentlyAlike Although their fanbase is increasing we can't guarantee how much it is increasing in South Korea cause what I'm seeing is it's increasing internationally more than in their own country. Also Rock was never favourite genre in Korea while it is very famous in Japan. So they just mellowed down Rock part and fused it with pop to make it acceptable in Korea. And you have to check their history and how fanbase has supported them cause it's been 4 years as a Dreamcatcher and +2 Years for their Minx (5 out of 7 members were debuted as Minx before Dreamcatcher) so in that many years they haven't got a single 1st Win and yet they are keeping their hopes and are traveling non-stop just for the sake of InSomnias. Just watch their new series "Between Dreamcatcher and Me" you will know how Dreamcatcher and their Fanbase is.

Infos about DREAMCATCHER 7 members, 5 of those members was already in a Band named MINX around 2014 they are under happy face entertainment but they changed all of their concepts etc.. Because they got hate of their girly lovely look like twice or other groups. So they debuted around 2017 with two new members. JIU is the Leader, Lead Vocal, Lead Dancer, Visual and Center (the oldest 1994) SUA is the Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, Vocal ( 1994 younger than JIU) SIYEON is the Main Vocal (1995) HANDONG is just a Vocal (1996/ currently in China and can't turn back to Korea so she missed two comebacks ) YOOHYEON is the Lead Vocal, but you can put her as a Main Vocal as well and also you can say or see her as a Lead Dancer but she's the Center of the Group (1997) DAMI is the Main Rapper, Vocal and Lead Dancer (1997) GAYHYEON is the Rapper, Vocal and the youngest of the group (1999) Fan name is (InSomnia)

I've watched your channel before for other groups, but I came back to check your DC content because I recently found them and I LOVVVVVVVE them!!! I think they're kind of 3rd gen, kind of 4th gen, but definitely underrated. I'm a new INSOMNIAC and Gahyeon and Siyeon are my biases, wrecked from time to time by SuA. I will be checking out the rest of your DC content for sure!
Proud Insomnia since early 2019 here. I've been obsessed with DreamCatcher since PIRI. They keep gaining popularity with each comeback and it's so deserved. These girls are so talented and they're serving something so different from most other girl groups. My biases are Dami (rapper with the blue hair) and Gahyeon (pink hair). Gahyeon, especially, owned this comeback. As Özlem said, this is her era!
If you're going to react to their past MVs make sure to do it order bc all of them are connected in one storyline! Here's a simple description of each MVs from the 'Nightmare' series Fly High (prequel): Jiu caught a spider in the backyard, but Yoohyeon killed it with magnifying glass which caused all of them to get cursed one by one by the Spider and became a nightmare Chase Me: a ghost hunter (Spider lady's ally) came to find and trap Dreamcatcher inside the 'book' that linked to each nightmares that the girls represent, but failed Good Night: the ghost hunter managed to trapped SuA but the members saved her by burning the page of her nightmare from the book, then trapped the guy inside the mirror afterwards.. the girls then escaped from that place and dropped the book in the forest You And I: Dreamcatcher members living together in a new home, they opened a small photo studio and mess with people's dream/nightmare by using their pictures taken there. but one day a lady came for a photo (which happend to be the Spider lady) ,the Spider lady then transformed and attacked Yoohyeon who killed her as a revenge. Jiu who caught the Spider in 'Fly High' knew what's going on and try to save Yoohyeon who are currently trapped in another realm by performing ritual, but Yoohyeon didn't make it to the portal at the end, now she trapped alone What: the rest of the Dreamcatcher now living apart in modern era, but Yoohyeon always appeared in the dream of the members as if she's calling for help ,especially Jiu.. the members expressed their confusion and eager to overcome the nightmare in the lyrics PIRI (ending): while wandering around Yoohyeon found a Piri (flute in Korean) ,with a hope to reunite with her members again she then use the Piri as an SOS call. right after she blow the Piri ,all of the members are summoned and now entered Yoohyeon's realm ,but in order to meet Yoohyeon each of them have to overcome their nightmare trials.. the members then eventually reunited at the end, trapped together in the 'Nightmare' P.s - Dreamcatcher's Japanese MV 'Breaking Out' can be used as an alternative ending as well
Insomnia is their fandom and Gahyeon the girl with pink hair is my bias anyway I got pull in with one listen and they do have this affect on people. BOCA has a message as well, it is part two of three of the dystopia arc and Scream is their part one. Part one: Scream is basically a witch-hunt/online bullying can cause harm to someone and is especially true if you are a celebrity. South Korea had a few deaths because of online criticism and some took their lives because of it. (This song made me a stan instantly) Part two: BOCA (literally direct translation from Spanish mouth), pretty much self explanatory and is about telling haters and bully to shut their mouth if they have nothing good to say. They have a seventh member Handong but is stuck in China due to a tv show filming “Youth With You” awhile back (covid) but have confirmed she will return soon. Note: Lisa from Blackpink was one of the judge/coach for the tv show and did ask if they’ve ever met which they never did until they started filming the tv reality show.

Some extra info about Dreamcatcher; 7 member group, debuted in January 13th, 2017. Fandom Name: InSomnia means In Dreams. Definitely at least check out Scream next, since that's part 1 of the current album trilogy and Boca is part 2. The whole set is a powerful message against cyberbullying and in defense of those hurt by it. DC isn't just top tier performers, their words actually speak to a greater purpose. You guys should stick with Dreamcatcher. The views are the best they have ever been, but of course still not as good as the top 3 girl groups. But if you like creativity and individuality in music, you almost have no choice, you must stan Dreamcatcher! 😉 And they have a great message: Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("freak behind the mask" from Scream). Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome!

Their title tracks have rock elements and concept is pretty edgy and unusual for a girl group. Their growth is steady. Fan base is doubling each comeback. 87k album sold for Lose Myself, their highest so far, so I definitely recommend that.
@@DifferentlyAlike Although their fanbase is increasing we can't guarantee how much it is increasing in South Korea cause what I'm seeing is it's increasing internationally more than in their own country. Also Rock was never favourite genre in Korea while it is very famous in Japan. So they just mellowed down Rock part and fused it with pop to make it acceptable in Korea. And you have to check their history and how fanbase has supported them cause it's been 4 years as a Dreamcatcher and +2 Years for their Minx (5 out of 7 members were debuted as Minx before Dreamcatcher) so in that many years they haven't got a single 1st Win and yet they are keeping their hopes and are traveling non-stop just for the sake of InSomnias.
Just watch their new series "Between Dreamcatcher and Me" you will know how Dreamcatcher and their Fanbase is.

7 members, 5 of those members was already in a Band named MINX around 2014 they are under happy face entertainment but they changed all of their concepts etc.. Because they got hate of their girly lovely look like twice or other groups. So they debuted around 2017 with two new members.
JIU is the Leader, Lead Vocal, Lead Dancer, Visual and Center (the oldest 1994)
SUA is the Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, Vocal ( 1994 younger than JIU)
SIYEON is the Main Vocal

HANDONG is just a Vocal
(1996/ currently in China and can't turn back to Korea so she missed two comebacks )

I've watched your channel before for other groups, but I came back to check your DC content because I recently found them and I LOVVVVVVVE them!!! I think they're kind of 3rd gen, kind of 4th gen, but definitely underrated. I'm a new INSOMNIAC and Gahyeon and Siyeon are my biases, wrecked from time to time by SuA. I will be checking out the rest of your DC content for sure!
Proud Insomnia since early 2019 here. I've been obsessed with DreamCatcher since PIRI. They keep gaining popularity with each comeback and it's so deserved. These girls are so talented and they're serving something so different from most other girl groups.
My biases are Dami (rapper with the blue hair) and Gahyeon (pink hair). Gahyeon, especially, owned this comeback. As Özlem said, this is her era!
If you're going to react to their past MVs make sure to do it order bc all of them are connected in one storyline!
Here's a simple description of each MVs from the 'Nightmare' series
Fly High (prequel): Jiu caught a spider in the backyard, but Yoohyeon killed it with magnifying glass which caused all of them to get cursed one by one by the Spider and became a nightmare
Chase Me: a ghost hunter (Spider lady's ally) came to find and trap Dreamcatcher inside the 'book' that linked to each nightmares that the girls represent, but failed
Good Night: the ghost hunter managed to trapped SuA but the members saved her by burning the page of her nightmare from the book, then trapped the guy inside the mirror afterwards.. the girls then escaped from that place and dropped the book in the forest
You And I: Dreamcatcher members living together in a new home, they opened a small photo studio and mess with people's dream/nightmare by using their pictures taken there. but one day a lady came for a photo (which happend to be the Spider lady) ,the Spider lady then transformed and attacked Yoohyeon who killed her as a revenge. Jiu who caught the Spider in 'Fly High' knew what's going on and try to save Yoohyeon who are currently trapped in another realm by performing ritual, but Yoohyeon didn't make it to the portal at the end, now she trapped alone
What: the rest of the Dreamcatcher now living apart in modern era, but Yoohyeon always appeared in the dream of the members as if she's calling for help ,especially Jiu.. the members expressed their confusion and eager to overcome the nightmare in the lyrics
PIRI (ending): while wandering around Yoohyeon found a Piri (flute in Korean) ,with a hope to reunite with her members again she then use the Piri as an SOS call. right after she blow the Piri ,all of the members are summoned and now entered Yoohyeon's realm ,but in order to meet Yoohyeon each of them have to overcome their nightmare trials.. the members then eventually reunited at the end, trapped together in the 'Nightmare'
P.s - Dreamcatcher's Japanese MV 'Breaking Out' can be used as an alternative ending as well

Insomnia is their fandom and Gahyeon the girl with pink hair is my bias anyway I got pull in with one listen and they do have this affect on people.
BOCA has a message as well, it is part two of three of the dystopia arc and Scream is their part one.
Part one: Scream is basically a witch-hunt/online bullying can cause harm to someone and is especially true if you are a celebrity. South Korea had a few deaths because of online criticism and some took their lives because of it. (This song made me a stan instantly)
Part two: BOCA (literally direct translation from Spanish mouth), pretty much self explanatory and is about telling haters and bully to shut their mouth if they have nothing good to say.
They have a seventh member Handong but is stuck in China due to a tv show filming “Youth With You” awhile back (covid) but have confirmed she will return soon.
Note: Lisa from Blackpink was one of the judge/coach for the tv show and did ask if they’ve ever met which they never did until they started filming the tv reality show.
