They only know how to distract the driver’s attention while on the road asking locations updates every now and then. Charging driver’s blood pressure to drive faster than the speed limits in order to pickup the load / deliver the load. After that when you let them know that you are there onsite they remain silence in ackward way. Sometimes they give wrong addresses which don’t match with maps, they don’t help us. Once they gave me an address; For example 245 something Ave, something state and something zip code. I went towards that address probably I reached at an old collapsed house. I called my dispatcher about the situation he said that the address he had given is correct. I told them about the situation, they repeated the same by telling to see the BOL. I double checked the address I found the same. Then I just changed the numbers 245 into 254 myself and proceeded towards it. Finally I reached to the correct destination. We drivers need money to buy our food stuffs, gas etc but we get arguments, complaints for free that cost nothing.

@ExpeditingAmerica expediting one I think. Yes I'm the ceo if you will have a buddy who doesn't know the business I book the loads do the paperwork talk to brokers and drive myself. 16 foot box truck no regulations under 10k pounds used to drive sprinters. I haul it man do 12 to 18 hour days get good marks from the broker. Love the road life. Hired a cargo van driver but he couldn't handle it. It's not for every one. Love the road. Have kids that's the tough part. Great money though
@@DTHRILLS.DANIEL.THRILLRIDETV shoot me an email expeditingamerica@gmail.com I can imagine how hard this would be with kids but it’s good you’re booking loads on the side too so you can be home a little. Thanks for watching and dropping a comment!
I’m from Florida I had a pick up in Miami to bring here to Louisiana now lol 874 miles with 56 miles in dead head currently at a pilot relaxing. Can’t wait for your video to drop you be having good content 💯
Very cool, enjoy the videos. I'm out there making runs. Mostly around South-Southwest. Maybe we will pass by one another. Safe travels to you and Bubba Jo.
You may want to remove the Amazon step below the back bumper so and they can load and unload you easier with standard forks. -Unless you're worried about them beating up your bumper with the forklift. Some vans have back up sensors that can get damaged.
Nice information. I have a question. Do you bid the same rate or it depends on the distance or how long you been sitting. Second question. How do you keep warm in the van
I’ve had so many “WTF’s” from my Garmin that I rely on Google Maps when it comes to the crunch. I do not know why Garmin has to be so inaccurate. Thanks for another great video.
So true man. I’m so confused as to how they are the gps company. I stopped using mine along time ago. I’ll use it when I’m near the parkways with low overpasses that’s it
hey bud i appreciate ur vids, it is a little intimidating putting everything together to start an expediting business, but ur videos definitely help, hopefully in 3 months when il have everything ready il catch u on the road
Brandon, cool video as usual. I guess Bubba-Jo isnt the jealous type, since he didnt react when that other dog was standing between your feet lol. Quick question, Is your new van long enough to haul 3 pallets and still keep your bed in place ?
Brandon love what your doing. I'm on the same path but about 10 months behind you. Believe me 8m nor doing this for the money yet just trying to learn the 8ndustry save to get my own van. Here's the thing I've come from the factory for years and I wouldn't leave this to go back for any amount of money I'm here to stay and don't know how to give up and I absolutely hate failure. So I appreciate you channel and hope me and my promaster rover see you on the road. God bless and please explain to others with out failures we would appreciate success
I would find a lane to haul other than expedite. I guess it’s a good way to get your foot in the door, but use the experience to build contacts and start your own thing.
Heading on a route here in a week should be there in about two weeks I’ll try and remember to hit you up. Shoot me an email at expeditingamerica@gmail.com
Thanks for your videos!!! I would like to know how much is the cargo liability insurance and physical damage if you have to pay for that. If you are using factoring to be paid, how much is it? I’m from Bradenton, FL. Thanks again
Auto correct messed up my question.. what is your code for upside. I used it once but it would give us each 15c per gallon.. we need it in this bizness..
I will give some constructive criticism. This is my opinion. As a business owner, I want to represent myself as well as my company. I, personally, want to look professional at all times. Flip flops, sandals, tank tops, hat on backwards, body odor(unbathed), gym shorts are not a professional look, imo. Take pride in your business, your brand & yourself. I also have business cards with me at all times. Unless you are under contract with a company which you signed a no-compete, then pass those out. Safe Travels!!!
No doubt I agree and most the time I do. But some days I don’t. Most these shippers are the least professional places around. But I don’t do this everyday. 🤷♂️ Great advice on the cards!
I owned three businesses... Car wash, mobile RV Detail/Wash and had food service machines in nine casinos. Started at 3:30am and would finish at 7pm. I wore t-shirts, shorts, old sneakers and during World Cup month I sported a U.S. Flag cape and Three Lions hat --- sometimes BACKWARDS!!!!

Have you talked about what insurance you use/ what’s required in any of your videos?
I have but I’ll do it again here soon.
100k/1,000,000 insurance policy usually if you want to have your own authority or you can get it from a carrier you sign onto sometimes

How are you liking the Mercedes Benz gasoline engine vs the diesel engine in your old van ?

What condition for upside?
What's the sound bar up front? Are your van speakers blown or is the sound bar just that awesome? What do those run?
Well the van radio needs replacing so a simple fix was a $100 sound bar. But I already had it from a couple years back.
I think UShip has stopped taking any new drivers for the foreseeable future.
Oh wow really? What makes you say that?
I hate the crosswind assist! It’s more dangerous than helpful. Need to figure out how to turn it off!

But you’re here with me!!!!!! 🤣😂

do you have to pull into the dot stations or can you bypass them
I can bypass since I’m under 10k lbs

Ayeeee from b-town that’s what’s up. Insurance is 100k cargo 1million liability. And factoring takes about 2-4% if you use it. I don’t.

How much do you make as a Owner Op vs a 1099?
I am owner op and still 1099 not sure what your question is. If you just have one van you don’t need to incorporate if you are the driver
