Started in England by two brothers - Ben and Ross - Legend made a name for itself selling premium rubber mats designed for horse stalls. Tough, thick and engineered to withstand the wear and tear of farmlife, these mats were a definite success. But England wasn’t without its drawbacks.

So, in 2004, Legend Rubber moved to Canada.

After a while one thing became glaringly clear: Canada was cow country. Keeping an equestrian-centric model just wasn’t going to cut it anymore. As such, the brothers decided to adapt their product, transitioning to dairy rubber mats and beginning to focus on solutions that prioritized quality over everything else. The reception was resoundingly positive. Legend was filling a void for premium, quality products that had previously been vacant. And it didn’t stop there.

One day Legend received a call from a Canadian telecom fleet asking about making a rubber mat to protect their van floor. The idea was brilliant, and a natural extension of the already successful business model. So, development of van flooring began, and the rest is history.
