They need help remembering that being yourself is to be fully human. People ought to start listening to her and not let outside opinions control them.

It's the fear of judgement, knowing that you were projecting this image of yourself that you knew other people would like, or be able to deal with to make them happy. It's very much down to the person that you are. I'm an extremely empathic person, so for many years I presented myself in ways that would make others happy. Doing that over many years builds up a deeply conditioned mentality over how you act. It's hard to break, but I'm getting there slowly. #BTA281
It wasn't until I had a medical issue in my life that allowed me to spend time by myself and figure out who I really am , that caused me to be comfortable with who I am.

I for one working on a project that never been something and first I was hesitate but now I have confidence to be different and belief in my product and how great it will be.
Years I had to accept that directions can be challenging for me. I would get stressed. I would cry. I had finally tell myself that I always get where I'm going and I'm rarely late. (I leave early if I'm unsure where I'm going.) Now, I try to prepare my journey ahead of time when possible to lessen getting lost or turned around. I haven't been able to make myself good with directions and I accepted this. I stay calm when I want to panic. I'm comfortable with myself getting turned around driving to the same places I've been before.:)

Great channel, Evan! Love the message! I've found that truly believing in yourself is an organic process, developed over time. Belief, faith, confidence, self worth are not 'lotions or potions.' They are learned behaviors; mental mindsets and disciplined habits of successful people. You have to give your power away a million times before, first, you recognize you are giving it away, and second, you are worth keeping it for yourself. You have to experience the excruciating pain of feeling dumb and embarrassed a gazillion times before learning to not lead with that sickening, self-deprivation talk because you are so desperate to have someone recognize you and "give you a chance." You have to learn to speak more highly of yourself, not because someone else thinks it's ok, but because you finally realize you are worth talking about. Finally, you have to keep at it long enough to get some skin in the game and fruit on your tree. Like begets like. The more success you start experiencing the more you produce. Success is not elusive; it's on the other side of disbelief. Keep the videos coming!
