Yeah, we can see the leadership discourse since 2 Apr 22 that remained unsolved until the tournament's 2nd match on 17 Apr 22. While it looks like Aqua's pushing the leadership role to Towa sama, when Aqua's supposed to take it since she's the Master (like V-Gorilla team and Pakael's teams), but you can also see Towa sama doesn't want to relinquish her leadership control on 16 Apr 22 evening until end of 2nd match in the actual tournament. TMT went quiet to let Aqua lead for 3rd & 4th matches, and pointed out that she can't perform with gibby, then 5th match they're just trying different characters for fun. Nonetheless, I think it was a good experience for all of them. Aqua has taken ad hoc IGL role in ranked matches and won via pings alone, but she was playing with fellow master-candidates lobby. In V-Saikyou, she's playing with rookie Suichan and Towa sama, whom I see as a work in progress on breaking the shell of being carried and solo-ing it to master one day.

Hey, can you check the subs in 4:45 when Towa explained something about Suisei and Aqua? It kinda glitched to me so I want to know if it's the same for everyone
They probably meant it as solo que ranks. I'm pretty sure I've seen Matsuri at master rank but the tournament don't count her as a master rank since she que with other vtubers alot.
@@diequickpls Hal did give Matsuri 8pts because she is Master lol. They will count their highest rank in their past 11 seasons. Towa is only 5pts in Dia IV is because she reached Dia III AFTER the announcement
Towa's highest rank is Dia 3, yeah. She reached it back in February. She could probably rank higher if she wanted (VGorilla even said she could probably reach Master if she really tried), but that would also mean that she'd cost more points in tournaments, which she probably doesn't want.
