Thank you! That's a great question. It comes down to the design and how I want to create my pages. If I want to utilize a full sheet of cardstock for my base page by scoring and cutting it strategically, I tend to use an L hinge. If I want to create a pocket page, I use a hidden hinge. But, this is not to say you can't mix it up. It really just depends on the base design. I hope this helps. TFW!
