The onions are slippy bc your cutting board is moving all over the place. Put a damp towel under the cutting board, it'll be a lot more stable

I've just realized that I don't know why so many things are packaged in plastic... it's kind of too much.
It depends on the town, but generally, when you throw away trash in Japan, plastics are separated and recycled (or maybe undergo special treatment?).
