thank you Roger for the great video, I always look forward to your videos and this kind of knowledge helps a lot in developing my CNC controllers.

Very interesting. I don't have a Seig machine myself, just a little Toyo-Saki ML1 manual lathe. But a properly accurate drill post attached to it would be a bonus, so I'll watch anything that might be advantageous to my future ideas for it.

Roger, if I can comment on the placement of your mounting holes for the top bearing mount. I would perhaps have staggered either the front or side hole to avoid the potential of the mounting bolt coming into contact with each other. Of course this could only happen if the bolts were sized incorrectly for length and we all know about 'Murphy's Law'. Great video by the way.

I am trying to watch this series and I don't know why your videos are not in sequential order from start to finish?

Great video! I just purchased a grizzly G0781. Essentially the same as X2 with a larger table and motor. It also has a tac. I want to covert it to cnc. I have the x and y mounts drawn up in solid works. I really like your z mount. Any chance I could the dimensions or a blueprint of your z mount? I would really appreciate a starting with the design.

I am looking for a small CNC metal mill. I need something like harbor freight or Northern tool conversion kit maybe. If it needs to modify then I would need help. 24" wide if not 14"
