Wow. I’ll never forget that harp, I was 5 when my mom first played FF1. I didn’t start playing the series til I was 16 but the series changed my life. It changed my career path. After all the absurdity in public discourse since 2016 I find it truly moving to see this collaboration, warriors from different nations united around the legacy of a game. Through all the cheesy dialogue and the tropes I appreciate the themes of friendship, loyalty, love, and courage that this series represents. They’ve always had a stellar musical team and it reaches across time.

I've always said that this piece could easily pass as a national anthem. Imagine if a country existed that had THIS as their anthem, and they participated at the FIFA world cup. Prologue is referred to as the soul of FInal Fantasy and captures it's essence quite nicely. It mostly plays as an intro and as an ending theme. Prelude along with Prologue are referred to as the main songs of Final Fantasy.

Prologue is referred to as the soul of FInal Fantasy and captures it's essence quite nicely. It mostly plays as an intro and as an ending theme.
Prelude along with Prologue are referred to as the main songs of Final Fantasy.

Honestly, these folks are actually going up against monsters, monsters of humanity, so yeah, the FF theme does fit them perfectly~

This is a many hour long festival in Japan where many military bands from other countries come and play, playing anime and game music isn't uncommon there.
