Also... the Forney Farm complex that stood on Mummasburg road near what is today Buford Ave probably both disrupted Iverson's advance, separated him even more from O'Neal and definitely obscured his view of the Union line.

Henry Kidd Douglas, Issac Trimble, and John Archer were captured at Gettysburg and sent to Johnson's Island in Sandusky Bay. I can see the island from the pier. My great-grandmother grew up on Johnson's Island and saw carvings of the men with state and infantry number.
