Derek Vann is a fantastic and greatly talented young pianist. I can only hope to hear more from him in the future. If he ever comes to miami/ft. lauderdale, FL to perform in any capacity I will much look forward to being there. So, please keep up the excellent work Derek and best wishes!
Absolutely amazing Performance.... really, it feels like that same sort of feel you'd get from someone like horowitz(a bit more reserved though).. And what a beautiful piano! My hell I want it. >.
The standard line for Steinway salesmen is to refer to their competition as "piano shaped objects" So that applies to Bosendorfer, Fazioli, Bechstein, Grotrian, Forster, Seiler, Schimmel, Klavins, you name it. But NONE of those piano shaped objects will ever need an action tear-down because the tubular action rail has split its metal along the line of let-off buttons. None of those piano shaped objects will have sudden failure of an agraffe right in the middle register on an important concert night.
THAT is how pianos should sound!
I have 2 imperials both around the same age snd they are soo sooo sweet, thank you god. I am so grateful
Beautify played
I Love Bosendorfer!

I can barely afford a 50 dollar electronic piano, my dad's salary is 150 $ in month
I have a Yamaha electronic piano. It's what I can have and it's very useful to me.
Don't give up.
Almost sounds too in tune
