Don't forget poor white women! I watched my former gyne measure out a 4cm fibroid then pull the ultrasound measuring tool back from 4cm to 3cm when I was on Medicaid. They must not pay much in comparison to BCBS for fibroid removal. The indicator for corrective surgery is 4cm or larger.
