    I miss the sting. I adore stinson. She is so humble. Her not bragging about it and then saying "i didn't think i played long enough for my jersey to be retired"....thats a grounded humble person...Truly a wonderful person.
    Bring back the sting!!!!

      I blame when Trudi Lacey ran this team into the ground, she almost did with the Mysticsd.

      Right.. she didn't do a good job at all. But the blame goes to Bob Johnson, too cheap to keep the team going. I feel like he used the Sting to bridge the gap until the Bobcats moved into the new arena.

      Sadly, the WNBA continues to lose money. Half of the teams are profitable.
      The first team didn't earn a profit until 2009 or 2010. That was the Connecticut Sun. I'm a strong supporter of the league, but I realize it's still a business. American sports culture affects demand, and women's pro sports are still perceived as "less than" by many Americans. That must change.
