Stuart a super video, understated from you but you grab the viewers attention by the relaxation of the video, brilliant.

Like you said, surprised by how much of the wreckage is still there. That weather is the perfect conditions to practice the map reading skills! Maybe you need to start a checklist before leaving the house and car :P

Loved it Stuart...It really is good to see where I used to work 40 years ago when I worked for the National Trust over Kinder etc...My son and I last year were doing a series on the Paranormal for our then channel and we wanted to include the reported ghost sightings of the airmen who sadly died there...We decided out of respect not to make it because family of the airmen still visit the sites and it would not have been right to do so...I am sorry you had such a bad start to the walk and guess it was a while ago cos you were testing the heater on another vid...The couple you were talking about is so typical of folk who venture up there thinking it is like a walk in the park...from experience the times I have seen it and sadly two times seen poor souls been carried down in body bags...Like I said Great vid and you treated it with respect which in my book is a big thumbs up...Cheers Les.🙂👍

Well done for not including the lost airmen. My Uncle was killed in action in Lancaster bomber in 1943. I took a member of the Belgian resistance to the crash site. She declined to go right up there she said I can remember what it was like. Thanks

Stuart. I can top your disaster story. I left my GoPro on top of my car. Got back home 60 miles away only realising then what I had done.🙃£200 🤑 I have many more stories of forgetting sticks, stove, mugs, glasses. Once I took the wrong tent (see my Ullswater vid😂). My wife calls this my ADHD tax.
Hope the silly people with no map/compass etc understood the seriousness of their omissions. Good un mate hope you’re out again soon. Atb
