James asking why someone is using a totally empty bathroom in an unused room clearly shows he's never found a secret poop spot at work. Those things are GOLDMINES
I wonder if CD Projekt also forgot to assign the game devs team to Cyberpunk... I mean you know, it happens to the best of us, there are just so many buttons to click. Totally relatable.
I think James should make an extra, unassigned room. So if he ever forgets to add a night shift to a room, at least all those hours don’t entirely go to waste and they still can do some stuff (other than hanging out in the lounge or canteen)...
Love this series! And you're explaining stuff really well. I've never seen anyone actually trying to play this game before. But even though I don't have that much prior knowledge of the game I can keep up with whats going on! :D
Me, a OG sim player not knowing anything technical about computers and stuff.. Still enjoying this game play of a game I don't understand half of 😂 lol
I used to make a fair bit of cash just hosting servers for other companies. Also selling my own software digitally saves so much in production. I wanted to say your console came around roughly when the first Xbox did, I think. In one play though I bought an older software and made serous bank by simply porting it to the latest OS.
I think you need only one sprinkler per room, at least the fire inspector is happy with only one...and also, like in Sims 4 you can free place items holding ALT
@@blaqkkitten1 It's one of those things that is considered okay in your own house (tho still not entirely hygienic), but that you'd typically avoid in a public space. I know fully carpeted restaurants exist, but the cleaning they require tends to get expensive really quick.
Game devs night might not have a room (you still hadn't assigned them to a room (the same room as the day game devs team they should be assigned to right?) at around 24:20 ) Edit: ok it was fixed later in the video.
It looks like your hosting bills are rather high. You really only need like, 5% of those servers, and would save 10+ mill a month. (Look at distribution costs)
Why aren't you spreading your vacations over 12 months for each team? That way you only have a few of them off each month and your development continues year round. Your team leader will handle or the scheduling for you. Also, get security dude! It's the ONLY way to deal with robberies. Assign them to each room that has an outside door, and overlap the shifts. Don't stagger the shifts because the burglars will sneak in between the changing of the guards. If you overlap them then there will always be a guard there. What I actually do is limit the amount of external doors and funnel employees into a main foyer type situation. Usually I'll have a little corridor section first, because your security will rotate between doors - which you don't want - so having a corridor with an external door (entrance) and another door leading to your foyer will only require 2 security guards per shift. That way it's easier, and cheaper, to organise your security. For things like server rooms you don't really need them to be accessed by anyone (except for IT/Maintenance) so they can be be a lot more remote - as in no outside doors or entrances. You do security, you do fire prevention and you don't need to worry about insurance at all. With software development you really only want to have the recommended amount of programmers, designers and artists. Otherwise you end up with far too many bugs and problems. Have smaller teams and seperate them (programmers, designers and artists) then assign them when necessary. The only teams I max out are the support, marketing and lawyers. You can have real sweat shops with these guys. I always have three teams (day, afternoon, night) for each section. That way I can go 24/7 and constantly produce. They all use the same rooms and equipment. Also, when you're setting up your developing, if it says it'll take 3 years then with 3 teams (day, afternoon, night) it will only take 1 year to finish. Before you know it you'll be making billions each year (which, to tell you the truth, gets a little boring because there's no real challenge any more.)
Pay attention to wasted interest. No reason for that to be so high on your releases, you are just making your programs take way longer to make with no benefit.
Am I the only one concerned EVERYONE who works during the day (other than the Marketing team and cleaners etc) will be gone in July and EVERYONE who works at night will be gone in August.....

Yas! The secret college/work bathrooms are great best 🙌
Found out at 12:56 that I'm a courier for your company. Thanks for hiring me!
Lol that’s cool

*So we're just gonna do these stuff again* - The story of eVaccine sequels
Its working for Fifa and PES so why not in antivirus?
@@amirilan4435 Exactly people gobble it up as long as you market it well
I think you might need a reception to get the distribution deals
Yeah, he does.
Sorry, I was screaming at the screen for about 15 minutes because you forgot to set the night team a room 😂

OMG, sprinklers in the serverroom 'sob' (I know this is a game, still...)
I think the more servers you add the more your bills go up regardless of what percentage of them are being used.
I don’t know for how long I’ll be yelling at the screen for this one, but you didn’t assign de Game Dev Night team’s room!!!!!
'till 27:38
@@CabbagePreacher It was quite a lot of time 😶

You're doing great. And I have loved this series so far.
When you are planning the development of new software etc. you should take a look at the expected Interest & wasted Interest
There is more to it than just the interest. If you dont have enough features, a competing product will pull away sales for example.
I'm sure the dead person found the 200K payout very useful.
You forget to put the last cubicle for the most corner one !!
“reason: dead” LMFAOOOOOOOO
James pulling a Sims 4 move and publishing a rushed video game... and still making profit out of it lmao
Get a receptionist and get hosting contracts for your servers
I think you need only one sprinkler per room, at least the fire inspector is happy with only one...and also, like in Sims 4 you can free place items holding ALT
Do you have a reception desk to accept distribution deals?
Love to waiting you done all the project! 👌
When you got all teams to do Tiny Tim, you could have upped the priority of it, since they were also working on their own stuff
I paused their projects, you can see under the tittle of them, it has the pause symbol
@@Flabaliki oh that’s probably when I looked away haha, was wondering why you didnt since you’ve done it before

Interesting. I've seen many dining tables that sit on a rug. My current dining room table does, maybe it's a US thing.

hey james if you hold down alt you can place freely, just like in the sims

By the time Tiny Tim is released the Game Station will be obsolete..... so it's Breath Of The Wild then

I reckon you should make an audio tool, with an exclusive premium version to give you an advantage. Handy feature!
Did you upgrade the SCM servers?
nope :')
I love how Tiny Tom is somehow Outstanding quality
This looks like a cool game. Thanks for the video James.
Did you ever set the lounge so that all teams can use it or do you not need to?
The Tiny Tim has awakend.
