The pony tail hack was something I did in high school. Instead of a blow dryer or using a curler I used hot rollers and left it in till it cooled before I took it down. It worked like a charm. I also used product prior to help hold the curl and also after.

My aunt talked about some of her hairstyles from the 1960's which had to be taught, practiced and eventually mastered, so that they could be reproduced at a person's request.
I would love to see Brad wear a long wig and try the diy styles when he has to go by feel and not sight in the back of his head! Plus I think it would be fun to see him in long lushes locks!

As someone with insanely thick, coarse red hair, I have felt the frustration of trying hair hacks and having NONE of them work. "Pin with ONE bobby pin" Girl, I need at least 20 bobby pins to even hold a small chunk of my massive viking hair.

I HATE having tight hairstyles. I can barely tolerate even a ponytail all day. Constantly having my hair yanked is a sensory nightmare. So I’m a little jealous watching these ladies pinning and pulling their hair back and looking GORGEOUS. Maybe I’ll experiment with some of the hacks but it definitely wouldn’t be for all-day wear lol
You are my hair bestie opposite! I wear my hair up all the time and hate it. When it's down and on my neck, shoulders, face I go crazy but wish I could have it down more than a day but it's always up or pinned back in some way after enjoying it down for a day after a wash
I am the same way! 💗 Aside from loosely braiding my hair or using a hair clip, I can’t tolerate any updos (including a ponytail… unless it is a loose ponytail in a scrunchie and it can’t be for the entire day). It just ends up giving me a headache and like you, it is a sensory nightmare!

1. You need smaller hair bands for some of the hacks. Like the one behind the ear, remember, Miss Mann. E. Quinn doesn't have real ears! But I use the small clear elastics for those types of hacks.

Just tried the bun hack at 9:00 it really works well and stays in place. Also feels like there less stress to the scalp vs a plain ponytail where you can feel your roots getting pulled down with the weight of one’s hair.
