100%! Especially from brands, it's always going to be like a green lipstick and 50 shades of nude shadow, a foundation colour despite the fact you have no option to choose your shade and its never close to your skin tone 😂

I love when I hear the "when did you last wash your makeup sponge" question, because I wash it after every two uses, sometimes after every single one, with a face cleansing gel. I used to have horrible acne problems and I still get some pimples, so I wash my brushes as if my life depended on it 😭😭😭
It didn't help me at all :( it didn't even help me that I don't often wear make up anymore :/ me skin even got worse and now I'm getting hefty stuff prescribed to treat it 🥲

Fun fact Ik a lot of ppl who washed they’re sponges regularly and got bored one day n cut all of them open n they all had mold in them so now they buy in bulk n jus throw them away after a few uses as a safety precaution😉

I personally love Elf lately. They have been coming out with some great products that really battle with the big names. Like the halo glow is amazing. I use it every day. I also actually really like the camo foundation powder. It like melts into my skin, and it’s so smooth and velvety that it almost looks like a liquid. The price is always on point too.. jus my opinion 😊

@@annam8719 its very good, it adds glow to the skin, blurs it, has a light coverage and is very lightweight. i wouldn’t use it as foundation, i use it under foundation, but if you dont need much coverage it’ll work.
I literally always love your eye makeup. You’ve inspired me to try new looks outside of “the norm” and be more adventurous! I’d honestly love anything from this.
i once actually did lab work on the bacteria that grows from makeup products. The sponge had a ton of bacteria but one of the brushes literally grew a fungus.

Mama broccoli manages to make all the makeup look amazing. It's magic. I can't really afford to get myself makeup these days and would absolutely love the Anastasia pallet and really any of the other pallets and contourcans. I'm 30 years old and have never managed to buy myself any kind of contour and just bought my first not-drugstore makeup last year 😅

Modern Renaissance is literally the only palette I own and use since I bought it at Sephora! I’m a horrible person to try and sell makeup to. Once I have a fav it what I stick with. So I have no idea what I’ll do if I can’t get a hold of another one after I use up mine. So I definitely would want to get that!

Modern Renaissance! I almost bought one at Marshall’s since it was on “sale” but it was still $35. 😂 I decided I wanted shoes instead. That’s the hard thing with makeup. When you’re working with a budget, you have to decide between, makeup, jewelry, shoes or clothes. I’ve always wondered what made Anastasia so expensive, but seeing you apply it, it must be because it’s a great formula.
The thing with makeup: the more expensive doesn’t necessarily mean better. Sometimes less expensive is still great if not better than the high end brands.
