- I have a couple of early Jesus Jones albums which I really like so I was very pleased to finally get the chance to see them live. It would have been good if they’d been headlining and had played a few more songs. Instead they were supporting Pop Will Eat Itself on their Australian tour, and their setlist was limited to 14 songs. I would have liked to have recorded ‘Zeroes and Ones’ but they opened with that and I rarely capture opening numbers. Instead I ended up with these six songs:

Not too bad a selection. However, my video doesn’t really do their performance justice. They sounded much better ‘right there, right then’. There’s never any substitute for being there at the gig. - เพลง

The version of Who, Where, Why on this is freaking awesome! These guys are coming to my town this summer and wanted to see if they still have the magic. This vid has me very convinced.
I too was a little uncertain how they'd sound live today. But they were really very good. In fact, much better than my video captures. Definitely go and see them.
I was also there 👍 I didn't get to see their early 90's tour but have seen them on all their following tours to Sydney and i reckon this was their best one yet. It was a tighter mix and I'd say the mixing also drove the drums and bass a little more giving that extra power in sound. Something that these video's dont bring out unfortunately. It was a great gig.
Glad i got to see Caligula as well, i have their albums also. They too packed a punch and a great live band 👍
Yes, I'm a little disappointed with the sound that I've captured. But that is often the case. My sound recorder is far from professional. I'm pleased to hear you thought this was their best performance that you've seen. I personally wish they'd been headlining. I would have loved to have heard a much longer set from them. Yes, it was a great night with so much terrific music. Really pleased I had the opportunity of seeing Jesus Jones live at last.
@@Peter_LiveMusic I would have lived the opportunity to chat to the band afterwards, but sadly there was nothing organised for the Australian tour. Bit jelly that the USA tour get to have a VIP session after their gigs.
@@christuckwell3185 Probably because they were only the support band. I personally would have liked to have seen them headlining, a tour of their own. Still as I said, I was just pleased to get the opportunity of seeing them. I never thought I would.

@@bevansmith3384 Yes, I was hoping they'd be good but they were much better than my expectations. Would love to see them doing their own tour soon.

Yes, I was very pleasantly surprised by just how good he sounded. In fact, my video doesn't really do his voice justice. He sounded even better on the night. Definitely worth catching if you get the opportunity.

Hi Tank. How goes things? Yes, I lost touch with them but I really liked those early albums. And they included plenty of songs from them on the night so I was happy. They actually sounded much better than my video. I suppose volume always helps. Anyway, very pleased I finally got to see them. The night's highlight. I'm not much of a fan of the main act which I'll upload soon.
