TD01 VS TD01C -- the regulated and peformance test

- Hello everyone, I'm Wurkkos Terry.
This time I rented the lumen lab for half a day from my colleague working test. Pass the test, I learned three points.
1. The iPhone is not good at lumen test, has any better phone recommend?
2. If no equipments and just observe with your eyes. When used high mode, the difference between TD01 and TD01C is almost unnoticeable. So I recommend TD01 for daily life, recommend TD01C for professional use.
3. Wurkkos will continue to produce more regulated models. And try our best to make more high-quality models keeping worth. So, what you most interested of next Wurkkos regulated model？

Really really cool that you are so transparent with testing, love it. Please also offer this model with the 5000K SFT40. Any idea what the MSRP is going to look like? What Amps does the turbo run at? 8A?
Wurkkos expects the TD01C's base price to be in a range of $4 to $6 more than the TD01. Sorry, I didn't ask about the amps.

I'd like to see more more regulated model with Anduril. A TS30S PRO with buck driver would be amazing. The options for lights with an SBT90.2 and regulated driver are pretty small in number.
I am a proud owner of 9 Wurkkos flashlights and I have a question for Wurkkos marketing. Is it that expensive to manufacture a regulated buck or boost driver? If it's not, why don't you fit all of your flashlights with regulated drivers instead of making two separate models, one with an unregulated driver and one without? 🤔🔦
Hello, thank you for your support of our products!😄 All issues concerning the driver are jointly decided by the product department and the R&D department. It is not just a matter of cost. The marketing department is only responsible for the execution of the decision.

Yep, upgraded new constant current certainly. The original TD01 can only working on 500 lumens, the new TD01C can working on 1000 lumens
A sustained output level for most of the runtime. The original TD01 dropped brightness after a short time down to ~400 lumens.

dude, using smartphone is not a good idea. it adjust picture. both color temperature and brighntess. you need some DSLR to keep picture locked (i mean locked F and ISO). i suppose Wurkkos can afford something like used Canon MK2 and 100$ 50mm canon STM which i used for hundreds of photo and video
glad to see that CC driver will be available.
Got it my man. We have Canon R6. But I feel it's so heavy and must controlled the tripod. The smartphone could more freedom of take video. I think next time I will use the camera to complete the fixed view.
Finally The right version of this flashlight, when this will be avalible to buy?
