I think alot of the Brendon hate comes down to the fact that he isn’t the same person he was at 17 , he couldn’t be their high school crush forever .

I have so much to say about this.
I became a panic fan back in 2015 and I immediately fell in love with Brendon and panics sound. My heart will forever be broken that he decided to end the band and I’m 100% sure that a lot of that decision had to with the amount of hate he was getting. I know he was becoming a father but I don’t think he would’ve left completely if it weren’t for all the hate.
And I will always hate the internet for running him off. The accusations about him were made up by people who were bored.
As for the Zack thing-Zack was their bodyguard from day one so it says a lot that they fired him immediately after the accusations. Just like Kenny was fired within like 24 hours of the accusations against him.
I hate cancel culture so much bc it’s mostly people getting canceled for shit they did 10 plus years ago when no one even flinched at shit like that. And yeah it’s not like he was still doing it now. The people that canceled him for that probably couldn’t even fucking sit up on their own when it was happening. I don’t understand why people get so fucking offended by stuff that didn’t even happen to them. People grow and change all the time.
As for the albums, I love every single album that they have come out with. I love high hopes. (Also I’m a Me! Stan till I die bc Taylor and Brendon are my favorite artists so they could’ve released a song with them making fart noises and I’d love it)
I don’t understand why people are so pressed about him not dropping the panic! name. Like they get so offended by it as if it affects anything at all.
I have loved Panic! and Brendon from the first song I heard and will love Brendon until I die honestly. Panic! was the first band that I never stopped loving. I was a one direction fan right before I found panic! and stopped caring about them like half a year before I found panic! and I since have fell in love and out of love with artists except for them.
This video made me sad bc I didn’t realize how much I was still not over Brendon completely vanishing from the internet. I don’t know if I’ll ever be over it tbh.
I got the chance to see them twice and I am so grateful I did, the day Brendon announced the split will be engrained in my brain forever and I feel like a piece of me is missing. I know that sounds dramatic but Panic! was the biggest part of my teenage and young adult life and the fact that it’s over breaks my heart. I hope one day Brendon comes back and when he does I’ll listen to whatever he puts out and I know I’ll love it.

Loved this video. It feels nice to watch a video where someone doesn’t pull lies out of thin air. The mob mentality with the cancelation of Brendon is just… insane. I’ve never seen a wave of hate like this before for someone who isn’t actively a criminal. There’s so many video essays and podcasts here on youtube where people just say the opinions that everyone wants to hear, but y’all are the only ones I’ve seen use actual critical thinking. ❤

Thank you for finally putting some common sense on social media! Brendon is a great performer, his voice is amazing!
I know this is controversial, but I didn’t know about Panic! until High Hopes. It made me go through their discography and now it’s one of my favorite bands! I love all the albums 🤘🤘🤘🧡🧡🧡🔥🔥🔥

Seeing this video feels like a breath of fresh air lol. It really sucks that a lot of the album reviews I've watched on here for Viva Las Vengeance are so obviously biased against Brendon despite them saying otherwise, and that a lot of them don't give his newer content an honest chance. It really sucks that Brendon's got so much hate over the years when people don't take into account that he's basically grown up in the spotlight since he was 17 years old. He didn't get the luxury of making mistakes in private, his mistakes were broadcasted everywhere. Loved hearing your guys's thoughts on Panic! ending though, it was extremely respectful. Thank you!!

I'm glad we share the same opinion on the controversies surrounding brendon urie and the name patd. most people on the internet are way more negative abt everything so it feels nice to finally find people who see it differently

for context about that one vid of Brendon "threating" an audience of "underage" girls. can those ppl just stfu already & stop lying??
    -
TDLR: Brendon clapped back at a MIDDLE AGED MAN (yes, the guy was happy he got under B's skin & even boasted about seeing him crack on twitter) in the crowd that had been heckling him. It wasn't just random either, Brendon had been sexualized by MIDDLE AGED men & women the whoooole tour. It was 18+, there were no lil kids there. It was ppl old enough to be his parents, telling a early 20 something to "take ur clothes off!", to "fuvk me!" so he responded..
    -
lol, ok, rant over 😅 i just always wanted to say that on Twitter but was scared of the dog piling. This channel feels very safe tho.
I appreciate this video so much. y'all have no idea. ❤

The hate against Brendon is insane and I truly think most people can’t truly articulate why they “hate” him so much. They’ll spew lies like the SA accusations or that he destroyed his voice, but I don’t really know why the hate for him is so much bigger than those who have actually done bad things. I think he’s just a bit annoying and the last album wasn’t what people expected so that turned them off and they’re not willing to overlook it. People are fickle, if the last few albums were better I really don’t think the hate would have been so big, unfortunately.
I don’t think Panic! would have made it big without Brendon. Yes, Ryan’s writing was amazing, but I know Brendon’s voice especially live is what drew me to them. I saw them many times from 2014-2023 and his voice never wavered. I think he had bronchitis or something during the last American tour which is a real shame as people think that’s what his voice is like now, when in my experience it absolutely was as good as it used to be. That being said the decision to plop the full last album on the setlist was bizarre. Even if the album was well liked, which we know it wasn’t, album shows are usually advertised as that and to do it unexpected is weird.
I hate how people forget Spencer exists. People act as if Brendon single handedly stole the band from Ryan Ross. He left with Spencer. Spencer was in the band with him for years afterwards and helped make those albums. It wasn’t just Brendon for ages. It’s complete revisionism from people who weren’t there around about the time of the split.
This comment turned out way too long sorry 😭😭 but I’ve been so annoyed by the lies and misinformation spread about Brendon. I’m not a Brendon stan or anything I just hate people spreading such lies for no reason.

I really enjoyed this video since you guys really point out a lot of facts that a lot of people tend to ignore (mostly on purpose 💀) just to follow the trend of Brendon being hated. Also, that you mentioned important reasons about why Brendon very probably kept the name of Panic! At The Disco.
And also I need to mention that I appreciate your respectful opinions towards some subjects that you guys talked about and that you just didn’t follow the things that people were saying online but you took the time to look into what was real and what wasn’t. It is really satisfying to see that there’s still mature people talking about sensitive subjects, and actually looking up what was really happening instead of just following what a bunch of people are saying against him online. 👏

@@EmoSocialClub Exactly, it’s pretty easy to just put a little work in effort, but most people on the Internet don’t know how to do that and/or are just too lazy to do it and therefore they follow whatever random people are talking about online. So I appreciate you guys bringing it up to the internet 🤝

This video about Panic!’s breakup feels so positive and refreshing compared to others, it really made me happy to watch. Also, if Panic! does come back in 2026 for When We Were Young Fest, I’m willing to spend the entirety of my life savings to go

Nice video! It is funny that you said in the half of the way things like "get over the fact that Brendon kept the name of the band even being just him, cause financially it makes sense, etc" but the last line was like "They will come back in 2026 with the original members" lol

Kayla seems to take her own opinion as fact when it comes to some of this. Viva Las Vengeance was not critically panned. It was quite vocally hated by younger listeners on Twitter and Tiktok but that’s not the same as actual music critics in music publications who generally gave it mixed to positive reviews. It surprisingly has a higher metacritic rating than any other Panic album. I don’t think music critics are the be all end all of what is considered good and bad music but if you’re going to bring them up at all it’s worth telling the truth and not misrepresenting things to further a point. It’s a shame that the most popular highly edited videos about the band’s conclusion are so often trying to work towards a predetermined conclusion.
    Really enjoyed your video though.

Yeah I didn’t want to make a big deal of like “cite your sources” since I wanted to be more well-rounded of the whole PATD history but, I mean we both liked it so it’s therefore not an all around hated album.
