I'm the 4th person who sings in the video :) Here to add some context about how it happened, for anyone who's curious If you use hoyolab, you might be aware that they hold fanart contests quite often. This one in particular was specifically for a cappella covers of the song. We were given very little information about how it was going to be used, all we knew was we had to record it with no music and with a simple background. People voted as usual and the first few places got in game prizes as well as the larger spots in the final video (i got 2nd place iirc, and the winner was Nata, the 2nd singer. They interviewed her in a honkai documentary bc of it). We then had to sign a consent form because "it might be used in a livestream" Funny thing is, i had no clue I was in the concert until a week later when a friend was like ???????? Is this you?????? It was even a surprise for those in it. They love their community so much, it was truly such a special experience It was even more special to me because hi3 concerts aren't usually fanmade. I went in expecting a regular, professionally recorded concert and ended up crying more than usual haha
You can 100% do a 4hrs video, we honkai fans don't care, we will watch it. I love how you without knowing the weight of this song had feels the emotion, the same emotion that us fans.
You should definitely watch the Dreamy Euphony concert as well. Or if you want to check out an individual performance, I highly recommend "Regression" by Yusuf. It's not the original vocalist for the song, but its an incredible rendition. Yusuf also sings "Samudrartha" for Honkai Star Rail.
Before the concert they put out a call for people to record and send in them singing or playing Moon Halo. Fans from all over the world contributed, as well as miHoYo employees. Some people even stopped by the miHoYo office and recorded themselves singing. It's a beautiful tribute to the game, the fans, and to Kiana's journey. The idea of every fan coming together like this is made even better by the ending of Part 1 of the game, but I won't say any more about that. The concert is fantastic. They really go all out with augmented reality. At some point, you should explore the world of community made songs for Genshin. There is some outstanding stuff composed by fans, and in some cases they even get the Chinese voice cast to sing the songs. One reason I love the CN cast for miHoYo games so much is they are 100% plugged into the fan community. They're fans themselves. Even more than the Japanese cast. Though, I'll give the Star Rail English cast a nod here. They did record an English cover of the Star Rail launch song, and that was amazing to see. You don't see that with English casts.
Please watch the concerts as a whole, they're all amazing and not splitting them up generally provides the better experience. If you're hesitant because people might not watch a 1+ hour long video don't worry, we honkai fans will eat that up and ask for more :P In any case, great reaction, can't wait till next Monday!!

Aw man... This one is always bringing tears to my eyes. That was such a surprise to see it at the end of the concert, huge respect for Honkai team and Hoyo to make this into reality. This song is like an anthem of Honkai Impact 3rd with key phrase being "May all the beauty be blessed" (The motto of the game is “Fight for all that is beautiful in the world”) and it was placed at the very end of the massive story arc that lasted for years. A final farewell and a new beginning. So It make sense why it has so much personal and emotional meaning to the devs and fans. The devs even singing in this one. You can see them standing in front of MiHoyo sign for example Also, fun fact, since you reacted to all of these song, in Moon Halo there are lyrics with callbacks to other songs like: "I will never go" - "Never let you go" (From "Final Lesson" and "Nightglow") "There's a way back home" - "To find the way back home" (From "Shattered Samsara" and "Rubia") "Brighter than tomorrow and yesterday" - "I want no tomorrow or yesterday" (From "Meteoric Salvation" and "Starfall") You can as well count "Unfold this pair of wings for me again; To soar above this world" - "Though my wings've been bloodstained and could never rid; I will try hard to soar to the heaven I dreamed" (From "Cyberangel: Zero Exception" and "Cyberangel") but this mostly a speculation even tho it matches pretty well Man does it made me cry like a baby when I heard them for the first time...

i actually have a realy hard time ranking them. Live performances go to Forest Capreccio, presentation and ost's to Dreamy Euphony and and extended versions etc defo go to Starfall concert. (the edm/dj part was GREAT)
I agree with the other comments. I would suggest just doing the entire concerts, in the order they came out in. It would be a longer video, so it depends when you can find the time to do it, but this being MiHoYo music, there shouldn't be an issue with showing the entire thing if you wanted. This is in fact a professional concert.

The rest of the concert was an actual concert (and a really good one too). It also follows the timeline of the actual story (minus the surprise Moon Halo at the end and the trailer OSTs before that) If you want to go back to the animations: ★Animated Short [Thus Spoke Apocalypse]★ - Honkai Impact 3rd but also watch ★New Arc Trailer [Pre-Revelation]★ - Honkai Impact 3rd beforehand. Same as when you did Shattered Samsara and Reawakening. If you feel like watching more concert, my personal favorite is Elastic Force. Trumpet man goes hard 🎺 The entire Journey of the Stars part of the concert is great to react to as well (basically a bunch of the trailer OSTs mashed together)
Im sure Im not alone when I say I won't mind watching an hour long reaction of your reaction to the official concerts. The official concerts also have a few second breaks after each song for you to share your thoughts. BTW, that's the freaking DEVS singing with the fans!
There are 3 "live" (prerecorded) official concerts for Honkai: Starfire Sonorant 2021, Dreamy Euphony 2022 and Forest Capriccio 2023. All 3 concerts are fantastic in their own way despite first being more "raw", second being more AR focused and featuring more themes while 3rd one is taking best from 1 and 2 while production quality is tuned to 11. I believe you will enjoy all 3. So it could be separate streams.
Almost every patch they were giving the players a review to make if you like the patch or not, the new battlesuits and events and etc and in the last review before the last battle they added a place where you could write a message for the game. Later during the last battle they showed everyone's messages. It was so emotional for me
oh hey, I'm in there! for context, a few months before the concert, there was a contest/call for people to submit a performance of moon halo, and the winner (Nata, the second singer here) was invited to work on a song with hoyoverse called reverie! (I was one of the few who got second!) afterwards, a bunch of people who participated were asked permission to use their recording, but we didn't know exactly what it was for, so it was such a cool surprise to see when the concert went live!

The Honkai concerts are professional concerts with the original songs and they try to get the original artists for the concerts, for this concert in particular they invited fans to send in covers of Moon Halo and they didn't say why, when the concert ended they finished with Elysia, whose entire character revolves about her love for Humanity and the world they can bridge and they used her to bring all the fans together in this fan version of Moon Halo. They did fan messages at the end of this years concert The concerts are a must watch but if you want to continue the Animations Prerevelation and Thus Spoke Apocalypse are next on the list.

if you're gonna watch the honkai concerts, please do them in order and in full as the quality and range of things they do in them just constantly improves and never fails to smack you in the feels. (starfire sonorant, dreamy euphony then forest carpaccio ) also the concerts aren't fan-made, this was a special project put together by hoyo under the guise of a normal fan contest.

Moon Halo is THAT OST for the fanbase. People who didn't play HI3, they might not know the weight of this song to the players, everyone who experience it, and the weight to the characters and story itself. Thus why this OST is considered the national anthem of Honkai Impact 3, an OST for all the main characters in HI3, especially Kiana. That feeling for every Captain out there who watch the ups and downs of Kiana story, the climax of Kiana's character development, the moment she can let go of her past mistakes and go forth. The pinnacle of Kiana is right here, how the main casts develop over the series, told in a single beautiful melody called "Moon Halo". Be a Captain is worth it. You just have to paid with your tears and souls, maybe sometimes with credit card also.
The way Hoyoverse treats and respects its fanbase is like no other game company I've ever seen. It's really great that they allow such creative freedom and promote community made content. Other video game companies should take note.
When the song goes off in the Everlasting Flames animation it hits hard. But this iteration is beautiful and a work of art in it's own way separate from the original. I'm glad to hear that they sponsored you to do a reaction, Hoyoverse is pretty good on that. I believe they've done the same for a Vtuber/cover artist known as LeeandLie or AmaLee or Multiversal monarch...She has a lot of names but anyways they sponsored her to do a few different covers of Honkai Impact songs. There are three concerts. The first one Starfire Sonarant is live. The other two (Dreamy Euphony and Forest Cappricio) were recorded live but i assume over the course urse of weeks. I'm pretty sure they use the concerts to showcase their XR technology. I would recommend reacting to the concerts in their entirety. Tbh, I have lost track of how many times I've watched them.

So there are three concerts in total for honkai impact and all of them were officially made by the company itself not fanmade, this here is a part of the second concert it was made as something of like an event where the game request (if you like to do it that is) a video of you singing moon halo, back then i think no one knew it was for this so it has come as a surprise for the players. We don't mind posting like the whole entirety of the concert, in fact it might be more interesting to watch you react to the whole concert without any cuts since we can see the whole video. First of all you definitely need to see full concert, all of them. 2nd of all, what you said that this type of bond is not exist, is not entirely true (may be partially). I am playing in Warframe since 2014 and while I interacted slightly with others outside the game, they definitely have sort of the same thing, they even have their own con, called Tennocon, which they do every year in Canada (with exceptions for COVID years when they do this online only), but they definitely have it. Even this song equivalent in Warframe univers would be "We lift together" which they sung as an community. Also, this year during Tennocon when they showcased new stuff they at some point ask community (who was in same room live) to repeat a certain sound snippet which they recorded and at the end of showcase there was big trailer for Warframe 1999, which in cutscene have this exact recording being played. I'm sure they will later properly implement it into a game. So-o... This is certainly exists.

*Day 190* of recommending the *Beyblade openings* . There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I agree with the other comments. I would suggest just doing the entire concerts, in the order they came out in. It would be a longer video, so it depends when you can find the time to do it, but this being MiHoYo music, there shouldn't be an issue with showing the entire thing if you wanted.

The rest of the concert was an actual concert (and a really good one too). It also follows the timeline of the actual story (minus the surprise Moon Halo at the end and the trailer OSTs before that)

There are 3 "live" (prerecorded) official concerts for Honkai: Starfire Sonorant 2021, Dreamy Euphony 2022 and Forest Capriccio 2023. All 3 concerts are fantastic in their own way despite first being more "raw", second being more AR focused and featuring more themes while 3rd one is taking best from 1 and 2 while production quality is tuned to 11. I believe you will enjoy all 3. So it could be separate streams.
Almost every patch they were giving the players a review to make if you like the patch or not, the new battlesuits and events and etc and in the last review before the last battle they added a place where you could write a message for the game. Later during the last battle they showed everyone's messages. It was so emotional for me

for context, a few months before the concert, there was a contest/call for people to submit a performance of moon halo, and the winner (Nata, the second singer here) was invited to work on a song with hoyoverse called reverie! (I was one of the few who got second!) afterwards, a bunch of people who participated were asked permission to use their recording, but we didn't know exactly what it was for, so it was such a cool surprise to see when the concert went live!

The Honkai concerts are professional concerts with the original songs and they try to get the original artists for the concerts, for this concert in particular they invited fans to send in covers of Moon Halo and they didn't say why, when the concert ended they finished with Elysia, whose entire character revolves about her love for Humanity and the world they can bridge and they used her to bring all the fans together in this fan version of Moon Halo. They did fan messages at the end of this years concert
The concerts are a must watch but if you want to continue the Animations Prerevelation and Thus Spoke Apocalypse are next on the list.

People who didn't play HI3, they might not know the weight of this song to the players, everyone who experience it, and the weight to the characters and story itself. Thus why this OST is considered the national anthem of Honkai Impact 3, an OST for all the main characters in HI3, especially Kiana. That feeling for every Captain out there who watch the ups and downs of Kiana story, the climax of Kiana's character development, the moment she can let go of her past mistakes and go forth. The pinnacle of Kiana is right here, how the main casts develop over the series, told in a single beautiful melody called "Moon Halo".

When the song goes off in the Everlasting Flames animation it hits hard. But this iteration is beautiful and a work of art in it's own way separate from the original. I'm glad to hear that they sponsored you to do a reaction, Hoyoverse is pretty good on that. I believe they've done the same for a Vtuber/cover artist known as LeeandLie or AmaLee or Multiversal monarch...She has a lot of names but anyways they sponsored her to do a few different covers of Honkai Impact songs. There are three concerts. The first one Starfire Sonarant is live. The other two (Dreamy Euphony and Forest Cappricio) were recorded live but i assume over the course urse of weeks. I'm pretty sure they use the concerts to showcase their XR technology. I would recommend reacting to the concerts in their entirety. Tbh, I have lost track of how many times I've watched them.

So there are three concerts in total for honkai impact and all of them were officially made by the company itself not fanmade, this here is a part of the second concert it was made as something of like an event where the game request (if you like to do it that is) a video of you singing moon halo, back then i think no one knew it was for this so it has come as a surprise for the players.
We don't mind posting like the whole entirety of the concert, in fact it might be more interesting to watch you react to the whole concert without any cuts since we can see the whole video.

2nd of all, what you said that this type of bond is not exist, is not entirely true (may be partially). I am playing in Warframe since 2014 and while I interacted slightly with others outside the game, they definitely have sort of the same thing, they even have their own con, called Tennocon, which they do every year in Canada (with exceptions for COVID years when they do this online only), but they definitely have it. Even this song equivalent in Warframe univers would be "We lift together" which they sung as an community. Also, this year during Tennocon when they showcased new stuff they at some point ask community (who was in same room live) to repeat a certain sound snippet which they recorded and at the end of showcase there was big trailer for Warframe 1999, which in cutscene have this exact recording being played. I'm sure they will later properly implement it into a game. So-o... This is certainly exists.

You should do pauses in between the genshin main story, and instead of streaming playing the mission, postpone it and react to the whole 2021 concert and get blown away, then after you’re done with inazuma do the 2022, and so on, I promise you, you wont regret it

There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out.
