Completing the game would take a long time because like in Genshin you also need energy and it needs to recharge all the time, so beating it in 1 day or 2-3 I think is pretty much impossible. So if you don't mind spoilers related to the game and you're interested in the sequences I would just watch them.

Finally! My absolute favorite Honkai Impact song... I've been waiting for this for a long time and I'm really happy to finally see your reaction to it. I can really only recommend watching the animations for the songs. They are the conclusion of many chapters in the game as an anime sequence and simply fit the songs perfectly. You might also need a handkerchief or two. Keep it up, super fun to watch.
I’m here for Zhou Shen! He has so many songs and duets with many, and I mean many, surprises/singing styles. So far, all that you’ve reacted to are very “classical” types of songs. Whereas, he has songs he’s incorporated Chinese opera into, does multiple voices in a single song to portray different characters & it’s done on stage/live, replicates the background instrument in the song, syncs his falsetto with his duet partners, Mongolian throat singing, and so much more. Oh and he has even rapped! In any case, not sure if you’re sticking to mostly English songs which would explain it but just thought I put this out here.
I'm so glad you're getting into this rabbit hole of HOYOVERSE. Rubia sung by Zhou Shen is my favorite OST from Honkai Impact. The singer is male btw and sings the majority of the time as a countertenor. I can't wait for you to check out the animated cutscenes. Make sure to watch them in chronological order. The character trailers are also as amazing!

9:19 also there is absolutely no way to finish Honkai Impact in an 8 hour session. The current story is like... 37 chapters long now? Each chapter ranging from 2 to 4 hours of gameplay. Granted much of it is dialogue and exposition in between combat, and the game itself does level-gate you at the beginning, but the story and the characters truly are worth every moment. I'm sure one or more of us would be willing to link you to any videos regarding lore and introductions to the Honkai verse, just say the word!
This is a mobile game which is kinda wild considering all the effort they put into the game. Also, this is my favorite honkai impact song. The emotions just hit different once you see the animation for this song...
Yes, the animated cinematics are what you need to check out, they are AMAZING! Personally I'd prefer you experience them while playing the game, but if you don't mind spoilers than go for it. There are a few that don't have spoilers that you could watch in the meantime if you do want to save the best ones, the one simply titled "Bronya" is what really got me into the game.
Really stoked to see you reacting to Honkai Impact! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend watching the animations, but also to play the story in-game. It is quite a time sink, with there currently being 37 chapters, and reaching the end of Part I (Chapter 35) might take close to 35-45 hours of play depending on how fast or slow you take it. You can sorta piece the story together through the animations, but there is a LOT of skipped details and context that really bring the story together. If you plan on reacting to the animations in a video, it might be best to split it up like you said (i.e. 30 minute videos spread into a few parts) that way there's time for a few reactions and thoughts on each of them. Also good to note: Hoyoverse is not DMCA, so you can use their music and videos in your own reaction videos without getting any fuss from them! You don't gotta worry about cutting any music or video short! (As a side note, I know I'm not alone in saying that we'd love to see you react to the version trailers as well! Banger music and visuals, and it'll give you a glimpse as to what the actual gameplay looks like. Doing this might take a bit longer though, as with 6.7 coming out soon - there's a loooot of trailers to catch up on lol)

I like how more and more people are looking at Mihoyo and their wonderful team of musicians and animators, as well as the voice actors that gave voice to the animation and music. Yes, some of these voice actors in the game do sing the animation songs as well.
The game would take a few months to go through because of stamina limitations. There are also extra story stuff beside the main story. From what i remember there are memories for characters, a separate roguelike gamemode story, at least 3 comics and an open world gamemode set 10 years after Honkai Impact called A Post Honkai Odyssey. PS: I have not played since senti dropped so i might not be up to date on the story.
Eh if you only do the story (which is made possible by the fact that they give you trial characters throughout) and not waste the stamina elsewhere you should be able to finish it in about a month. Less if you just use the stamina potions the game gives you. Source: I myself just started less than a month ago on and off and I'm at chapter 29.
Shattered Samsara (the animation in which Rubia was played) was the one which got me into Honkai Impact two years back and Cyberangel hooked me to the game 😂

I couldn't feel anything, both physically and mentally. This broke me and I was happy crying in the bathroom. game is in chapters that are split in stages and first chapters are short but later chapters/stages are quite long (latest ones taking 1-2h of straight story) currently there is 36 chapters 37th coming soon....also its not voiced in English(its voiced in JP and CN)..so there is a lot of reading...game is constantly updating and soon i will look 1000% better because honkai moving to new engine..and it already looks great..also there are 2 concerts you might want to check out..they are quite stellar...ALSO there is PV trailers...same as genshin version trailers which you liked..mix of gameplay and story(small hints) and snippets from ingame there is a lot of them but they are short so you can split them up easy
The game is fairly lengthy - getting through all of Part 1 of the story (Which has it finishing a bit before where we are now in the story) takes probably around like... 100+ hours or so? So, for someone with limited time, just reacting to the cinematics is probably a safe bet. If you find a playlist that includes the lore videos that provide context/summaries (The Honkai Operations Center videos), it goes a long way to providing a good understanding of all the story beats happening. Granted, even the music alone helps with understanding the kind of emotional moment that is supposed to be happening.
There are fan made playlists that include all properly, and include some that aren’t included in main one with some story summaries to give context, you can look that up for your convenience
Just 2 thing in honkai music in my opinion: 1. If you happy, you enjoy the music. 2. If you sad, you understand the lyrics. And yeah honkai song always have onions in them

honkai impact 3rd has a really beautiful and sad story, I suggest you try the game even if the story is slow at first then it improves a lot, at the moment there are 37 chapters and (according to the internet it takes an average of 85h to finish the story only). After the animations, I also recommend watching the character trailers. Sorry for my bad English.
Yes the music in Honkai is so good, but it hits even harder if you watch them synced up to the cinematics! You should definitely do some big videos where you react to them like you did to the Genshin trailers.

First cutscene is 8th chapter, next one is 9th chapter. Also animated cutscenes in this order: Ruburn(promotional video), Will of the Herrscher(end of chapter 8), Final Lesson(end of chapter 9), then idk XD.
Honkai Impact, Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail... the games from Hoyoverse are really good, and their OSTs and animations are very top tier, god tier even! They may have different teams that make the stuffs for each game but they all are making masterpieces 🥰 Yes, what you just watched is an animation from a game. You should check the animation short soon if you able too, they include the song too so you can enjoy the song and the animation at the same time. The top comment give you a good list. You can at most split all the cutscenes to 2 parts. Just make sure you start from the oldest. Honkai Impact 3rd is on it's 6th year now and we're just finished the first part of the story. We still have atleast 3 years worth of story left if I remember correctly
I see that some people have posted list for the animations , before you watch the animations tho , i would like to recommend you watch the video of introduction to honkai verse first as it explain the world details quite well to avoid confusions .
Honkai impact 3 is an action game But they got do some Anime when the main story reach an end, the quality of the anime is top & have specific song matching with plot story, I do hope u can direct look for the anime & giving reaction about that
There is a term in Japanese for vocalists like Zhou Shen, "Ryouseirui". There are actually more men out there who sound female and women who sound male while singing. It's uncommon because most people don't dare to sing that way or even dare to sing after all. The ones who dare are often like the most mind-frogging vocalists out there ever. Also I remember Zhou Shen was on The Voice .. one of the coaches went "that girl has a nice voice!", when he turned around and saw HIM, he was speechless. Nice, funny moment.

While genshin will give you Bombastic set piece and music that hypes you up, Honkai will break your heart and then step on it for good measure with its heartbreakingly beautiful ost and story. Honkai is truly one of the most beautiful media I have come across

game is in chapters that are split in stages and first chapters are short but later chapters/stages are quite long (latest ones taking 1-2h of straight story) currently there is 36 chapters 37th coming soon....also its not voiced in English(its voiced in JP and CN)..so there is a lot of reading...game is constantly updating and soon i will look 1000% better because honkai moving to new engine..and it already looks great..also there are 2 concerts you might want to check out..they are quite stellar...ALSO there is PV trailers...same as genshin version trailers which you liked..mix of gameplay and story(small hints) and snippets from ingame
there is a lot of them but they are short so you can split them up easy

The game is fairly lengthy - getting through all of Part 1 of the story (Which has it finishing a bit before where we are now in the story) takes probably around like... 100+ hours or so? So, for someone with limited time, just reacting to the cinematics is probably a safe bet.
If you find a playlist that includes the lore videos that provide context/summaries (The Honkai Operations Center videos), it goes a long way to providing a good understanding of all the story beats happening. Granted, even the music alone helps with understanding the kind of emotional moment that is supposed to be happening.

honkai impact 3rd has a really beautiful and sad story, I suggest you try the game even if the story is slow at first then it improves a lot, at the moment there are 37 chapters and (according to the internet it takes an average of 85h to finish the story only). After the animations, I also recommend watching the character trailers. Sorry for my bad English.

There is a term in Japanese for vocalists like Zhou Shen, "Ryouseirui". There are actually more men out there who sound female and women who sound male while singing. It's uncommon because most people don't dare to sing that way or even dare to sing after all. The ones who dare are often like the most mind-frogging vocalists out there ever.
Also I remember Zhou Shen was on The Voice .. one of the coaches went "that girl has a nice voice!", when he turned around and saw HIM, he was speechless. Nice, funny moment.

Honkai Impact is 37 chapters long. Each Chapter has at least 3 to 15 levels. Each level is around 15-20 mins if you don't read dialogue super fast.
