It always confuses me when lawyers make statements on behalf of their client, and they haven't bothered to verify. I know court-appointed attorneys are overworked, but checking things first instead of after a judge questions it, is less work and a heck of a lot less embarrassing.

So much time and effort and money is wasted on these people that think that court time is a joke. If probation is violated they should go straight to jail and do their time once and for all...
I love back to back because like every human being I am curious to see if someone improves themselves or fails at it. Most people hope for the best for people. The back to back at least provides some closure.

I feel for this one. He seems smart, honest, thoughtful, he knows he has a drug problem, he's accepted responsibility for what he's done, and he seems open to accepting help to move forward.
I hope he's able to get the help he needs so that he can hopefully make some sort of amends with his kids and family in the future.

Have recently been introduced to this channel. Been watching so much that recognize many attorneys. Tbh…some of those defense attorneys are not impressive.

@@iii___iii I do agree with @ces385 as I’ve watched many different court channels and I’ve seen some extremely sharp and quick minded defense attorneys. However, I’ve also watched quite a few who didn’t seem to get around to learning the case, examining the discovery, and barely spoke up for the defendants. They just stand there and say ‘’um, well, you know I want to ask for a continuation…. um your honor’’. Not even asking for bond or bond reduction. So, yes there are some not so great DL out there.

Can’t recall the lady’s name but she appears to be on meth. An older attorney was so confused…the judge gently walked him through case. Can go on.

Have you heard of child support? The system is rigged to pay these ladies to get knocked up. You can’t put all the responsibility on the shoulders of black men; some, but not all.

These are so sad. As a teacher, I see so many students lost because their parents are lost. These lost kids typically grow to create more lost children and the cycle repeats. I had to come to terms that I can only do so much as a teacher. Most I can’t help but every once and again I get through to a kid. Most people have no idea the depth of trauma these kids go through and how hard it is to mentally break free of it.

I really enjoy these back to back episodes. It gets me more invested in the person. I really hope this young man is able to turn his life around he seems a nice guy charges notwithstanding. It seems he needs some mental health help to deal with whatever is making him so angry at times. And he did try to get help before relapsing.
I saw a case in a court in Ohio where the defendant was charged with second degree aggravated murder. At a wedding reception the defendant robbed one of his in-laws of 300 dollars. The victim would not give up his money and this angered the defendant, so he started kicking the victim in the balls, over and over again. Victim finally gave up and crawled back to sit down and try to recover. Victim ended up going home to ice himself but by the next morning things were turning a dark blue color. Finally, someone took the victim to the ER where he learned that both of his balls were ruptured and necrosis had already started, so he had emergency surgery to remove both of them. Unfortunately, they also became infected and entered his blood stream causing acute sepsis. He did not survive and the defended was found guilty and sentenced to 20 years.

OMG !!!!! I was given 2 orchids by a friend. The first one was decapitated when the seat belt came un done and whisked right across the bud. Then the 2nd one fell off the passenger seat onto the floor board. 😱😱😱😱😱

Oh lord. 4 kids under the age of 4. These poor kids most times don’t stand a chance to become productive as all they are is exposed to violence and crime. Role models desperately needed.

Yes. I don't like it either, but she doesn't require it. On another video there was a comment about how during the pandemic years there were many fewer opportunities for volunteer work so this was kind off a tradeoff. Remember also she says "provide proof" of the vaccine," not "get it." If they've been incarcerated during those n years at all, especially the early ones, likely they had to get it if they spent any time in jail/prison.
At my job they offered people a hundred dollars for taking the experimental drug. Scary as hell.

I love the B2B! It's always surprising how much they look different in each appearance! I have a second request. I would love to see a defendant from start to finish when they are successful. I have heard Judge Boyd promise to attend their graduation from either school or probation completed successfully. She has had a few people come in to thank her after completing rehab and getting their life together. Do you have access to any of those? Love your channel!

What is surprising to me is that when Judge Boyd asks the question "what have you done on probation?" and the answer is "Nothing" she will revoke..... This guy did absolutely nothing and was gone since January 2022 and she continues his probation!!! What is up with that!!!😡
He’s going to inpatient treatment
He was incarcerated. She helps those she feels can benefit the help. I’ve seen some come back and are being released from probation
She always does what she thinks will benefit people the most.
He called his probation officer when he thought he might use, she probably took that into consideration.
